General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny’s New Romance, Sparks Fly Between Him & Blaze’s Mom, Natalia?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could have a new romantic interest on the horizon. Things between him and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are basically over, so it’ll be time for the mob boss to get over this betrayal and move on to another.

With actress Eva LaRue set to debut on the soap soon, playing Blaze’s (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) mom, Natalia Rogers-Ramirez, it’s hard not to wonder if sparks could fly between the two.

General Hospital Spoilers – A Sonny-Natalia Romance Would Add An Interesting Layer To Things

GH spoilers note that Natalia will enter the little town on Monday, February 26th.

Blaze will likely introduce her mom to her new “friend” Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) when the opportunity arises, without telling her the true nature of their relationship, of course. As Natalia will be in Kristina’s orbit, she may also get the chance to meet Sonny.

GH Spoilers – Natalia Does Not Approve

Natalia’s bound to find out about Blaze’s sexual orientation at some point in the weeks ahead, and she may not only disapprove of this, but she may disapprove of Kristina entirely.

Sonny’s eldest daughter is the apple of his eye, and he’ll be fiercely defensive of anything negative Blaze’s mom has to say. This is where the tension could arise between Sonny and Natalia.

After all, most super couples start on the wrong foot in soaps, so Natalia bad-mouthing Kristina could trigger some friction between her and the mob boss.

After all, Kristina isn’t only gay, but she’s also carrying her sister’s baby, and Natalia may find the entire surrogacy an odd thing; especially as Kristina is using her own egg with TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) sperm.

Either way, it’s clear that there will be drama between Kristina, Blaze, and Natalia when she arrives in town.

There may also be chemistry between her and the mob boss that she tries to suppress, whether that be because she doesn’t approve of Kristina or his organized crime lifestyle.
