General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny’s Plan To Kill Sidwell Backfires & Laura Pays The Price?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will not let Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) blackmail him and Laura Collins (Genie Francis).

These two were photographed with a picture of Professor Dalton’s dead body in the trunk of Laura’s car and now they must figure out a way to wiggle out from under Sidwell’s thumb.

We will see them put their heads together during the week of December 8-12 and here’s what to expect!

Sidwell Blackmails Sonny and Laura

Sonny isn’t someone who will stand by and do nothing, especially with his good friend Laura involved.

But this is a complex blackmail, with not only photos but also a gun covered in Laura’s DNA. Sidwell was the one who killed Dalton and isn’t he clever to frame two other people for his crime?

Laura regrets dragging Sonny into this mess, but he will say that this is Sidwell’s doing. Sonny and Laura need to play the long game. It doesn’t seem plausible that they can counter Sidwell immediately.

Sonny Will Fight Jenz

Sonny may believe that destroying the photos and gun will remove Sidwell’s leverage. Sidwell is smart, but so is Sonny!

We just saw that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) kept only one copy of his blackmail material, so what are the chances that Jenz has done the same? Laura is stressed to the max and needs Sonny’s guarantee that they can escape Sidwell’s threats.

Sonny previously was against killing Sidwell but now does he have a choice? Sidwell is the kind of character who will take an inch and elongate it into a mile, so we predict that Sonny sees the need to eliminate the bad guy once and for all.
