General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny’s Plans for Anna Leaves Jason In A Compromising Position

General Hospital Spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is just getting started on his plan to smoke out Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) may have thought he could pressure Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) into backing down and telling him where Valentin is, but it appears she truly does not know. That’s going to worry her now as much as it does Jason and Sonny.

While Jason may feel more obligated to track him down because he played a role in Anna giving him a heads up to let him get away, Sonny’s plan should ultimately work to bring Valentin home on his own accord. There’s just one catch. Will Anna cooperate, or will she have to go along with this plan against her will?

Sonny normally doesn’t tread into such dangerous waters as to hold hostage a member of law enforcement. We can expect Detective Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) won’t stand for it — even against his dad.

But when Anna refuses to fake a crisis situation that requires Valentin to fly home and rescue her, Sonny won’t hesitate to take matters into his own hands.

Does that mean sending Jason in to kidnap Anna until Valentin turns himself in for having tampered with Sonny’s medication? It’s likely that won’t be enough for the mob master. He may have his own punishment in mind.

GH Spoilers Hint  – Anna DeVane Isn’t Any Closer To Finding Valentin Cassadine

Anna hasn’t figured out yet that she’s even at risk of Sonny’s retaliation. Not against her. She knows he’s looking for Valentin and likely bent on his own kind of justice that may mean she will never see Valentin alive again, and that Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) may lose her father and mother at the same time.

The closer that Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) gets to liver failure, the more pressure Anna will feel to track Valentin and Charlotte down. At the same time, that pressure will hardly compare to Sonny breathing down her neck.

Anna doesn’t seem to be feeling much guilt about letting Valentin escape when he played a role in running Sonny off the rails either. She won’t be surprised when she doesn’t agree to using herself as bait to lure Valentin into Sonny’s trap.
