General Hospital Spoilers: Sparks Fly Between Sonny And Ava This Week — And Someone Catches a Glimpse of the Fireworks

General Hospital spoilers squeal Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) are growing closer by the minute as they continue to coexist in Sonny’s penthouse apartment — away from the world that might judge them if they ever linked up again.

Most of all, Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) would have a field day exposing Ava for the fraud she is if she knew that her so-called best friend was moving in on her territory.

At the same time, Sonny doesn’t see it that way because he’s beyond done with his soon-to-be ex-wife. If Nina hasn’t accepted that, that’s her problem in his eyes. But rumor has it someone is about to take note of the flirtation happening between Ava and Sonny soon, and it could spell disaster if word gets back to Nina.

General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Spencer Could Blow The Lid Off of This

Of course, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) would relish the opportunity to blow the lid off of Ava and Sonny’s new quasi-relationship — especially if she knows it’ll hit Nina where it hurts.

Nothing would delight her more, but that doesn’t mean Carly is going to out Sonny and do anything that might harm his reputation.

However, Sonny will be the least of Nina’s concerns when she finds out. Instead, she will focus all of her rage and upset on Ava, her best friend no more. Carly has no beef with Ava, and she might even approve of Sonny’s relationship with her more so than she did with Nina.

So, she could happily keep her mouth shut and let their newly developed tryst continue, just hoping to have a front-row seat when Nina does find out.

GH Spoilers – Suggest Willow Tait Might Have A Few Strong Words

It’s also possible that Nina’s daughter — Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) — might let her mom know that Sonny has moved on.

Willow doesn’t spend a lot of time around Sonny, and even less so now that he and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) aren’t on great terms, but should she catch a glimpse of the new couple acting, well, just like a new couple, she may relay the truth to her mom — even unknowingly.

It’s not Willow’s style to act out of malice. Her delivery of this news to Nina could be mis-conversation, casually mentioning it as though she thought she already knew her best friend and her husband were hooking up.

General Hospital Spoilers — Nina Reeves Could Face Reality With Her Own Eyes

It appears the most popular theory among GH fans is that Nina finds out with her own two eyes what Ava and Sonny are up to.

Being forced to see Sonny and Ava in a close embrace — or even kissing — would certainly propel Nina into a fit of rage, right after she has an emotional breakdown.

This would push her over the edge, knowing she has just lost the one person she had left in her corner — Ava. Willing to ditch her, we can expect that Nina will take to the one and only way she knows how to deal with being hurt: Seeking revenge.
