General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer Cassadine Recast Saves Trina From Stalker Danger, Revealed To Be Alive?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) doesn’t know it yet, but she’s tangled up in a dangerous situation.

The ABC soap just dropped a huge hint about an obsessed stalker, so this feels like the perfect way to introduce a heroic Spencer Cassadine (last played by Nicholas Alexander Chavez) recast.

Of course, there’s no guarantee the show will finally let a new actor step into the role and bring Spencer home, but this is certainly a good opportunity.

GH writers are putting Trina in some scary circumstances, so Spencer could come back and play the hero.

Although Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) is a nice guy and a supportive boyfriend, he can’t compete with the love of Trina’s life!

Spencer and Trina got the kind of writing that’s reserved for soulmates who are destined to be together regardless of the obstacles.

That’s why Spencer’s presumed demise feels like a temporary hurdle to his eventual happy ending with Trina. Assuming Spencer indeed survived his tumble into the Seine, he could return at exactly the right time.

It’d be easy to come up with some excuse for Spencer’s extended time off-screen. Maybe Spencer has been in a coma somewhere or held against his will by some horrible villain.

Perhaps Spencer could escape and make his way back to Port Charles just in time to save Trina from her mystery stalker.

Whether that stalker is Quinn (Jequan Jackson), Simon (Grady Eldridge) or someone else, Spencer would be the ideal person to play rescuer.

Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) might even be a stalker possibility if she’s still alive as well, but the Trina photo collage seemed like it was made by someone with more of a romantic fixation instead.

Whatever the case, Trina is headed for the danger zone, so this could potentially set the stage for Spencer’s epic comeback.

Although Nicholas Alexander Chavez was popular in the part, it’s been long enough now that many fans could accept a talented new actor as Spencer Cassadine.

Maybe Spencer will show up and protect Trina by the time this stalker story reaches its climax.
