General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer Meets With Diane, Wants To Cut Ties Legally With His Father?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) will meet with Attorney Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy). Might he want to cut ties legally with his father, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) in a child from parent divorce?

General Hospital Spoilers – No More, No More

Spencer is so totally turned off by the things his father has done, he literally wants no part with him, legacy or no legacy. When he found out his father not only had slept with Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) but she was having his baby, Spencer was absolutely appalled.

Considering the timeframe of the conception, Spencer had acknowledged to an amnesiac Esmé it could be his, but he’s pretty doubtful.

It would probably be best if a paternity test was done but no one’s even looked into that. But as for right now, that can wait a while – Spencer just wants to be free of his father.

GH Spoilers – Draw Up The Papers

Spencer wants Diane to draw up the papers so his irrevocable split from Nikolas can be swift and permanent, he doesn’t want to be associated with him at all. Even though Spencer is not under Nikolas’ custody as he soon will be full legal age, it doesn’t matter; he just is so done with all the drama.

It’s the only way he feels he can get out from under his father’s shadow and most of all, his reputation, which worsens day by day. Spencer assures Diane he has thought it through very carefully, and it’s helped to get perspective as he’s been living with his uncle. He talked to his great aunt Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) as well, she changed her name when she made the split although he’s not sure about changing his name.

General Hospital Spoilers – There Will Be A Family Court Type Hearing

Diane advises Spencer that there will be a family court type hearing involved, and Spencer understands that, and he’ll get all his reasons together. It’s probably going to be rather ugly, and of course Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will probably get himself involved, and it’ll be hard to avoid that. Considering Nikolas faked his death and let Spencer think he was dead for over five years getting his “divorce” probably won’t be a problem.

Plus, now it’s practically public knowledge that Nikolas slept with Spencer’s barely ex-girlfriend at the time he did. That should help a lot in getting his motion to cut ties legally with Nikolas through the court-his father’s done some heinous things.
