General Hospital Spoilers: Spinelli Finds Dirt on Sam’s Parole Officer – Freedom for ‘JaSam’ Romance On The Way?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) may have found incriminating evidence against Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) parole officer.

In recent episodes, GH fans may recall that Spinelli met with Sam at the Metro Court. There, the two had a private conversation where Spinelli reminded Sam that she had asked for help in finding some leverage against her repressive parole officer, Dolores Maloney (Andi Chapman). Spinelli then took it upon himself to, “accidentally,” gain access to the woman’s home server.

With that successful hack, Spinelli discovered that Maloney had made several calls every day for months and all of those calls went to a burner phone. As this GH hacker said to Sam at the time, “It’s a burner phone. It can’t be good.”

General Hospital Spoilers – Sam McCall Possible Right News

This could be just the news that Sam has been waiting to hear. GH fans will recall that for a long time, Maloney has been sticking it to Sam making her life as difficult as possible. For example, a condition of Sam’s parole is that she isn’t allowed to be around any convicted felons. Maloney has been psycho strict on this issue, which effectively prevents Sam from conducting normal family affairs like dropping off her kids with her ex-husband, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) since Jason is a felon.

The reasons for Maloney’s obsessively harsh behavior toward Sam haven’t been revealed, but whatever the reason, Sam has had enough (as has Jason). A number of interesting theories have been put forward for Maloney’s behavior including the possibility that she is a former member of the Dawn of Day cult and this is why she is so brutal toward Sam. Another thought is that she is a relative of someone Sam scammed way back in the day.

However, is it possible that Spinelli’s ongoing investigation will prove that Maloney is actually a crooked cop? Could she actually be the inside connection that Jordan Ashford (Briana Henry) has theorized Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) must have? After all, Cyrus Renault was able to accomplish an amazing amount of criminal activity to the detriment of Port Charles (not to mention Jordan’s former partners at the DEA) from behind the walls of Pentonville Prison.

GH Spoilers –  Damian Spinelli’s Investigation

It remains to be seen how Spinelli’s investigation will ultimately play out. However, if Dolores Maloney is proven to be a crooked cop on the payroll of Cyrus Renault, one has to ask what the connection is between that corruption and how she treats Sam.

If that connection has anything to do with Jason, one can bet that the Corinthos crime family will see to it that they remove Maloney as a threat. Whether that means she is fired from the PCPD or something more sinister is anyone’s guess. Regardless, once Maloney is out of the way a more lenient parole officer might be assigned to Sam’s case.

In that case, Sam and Jason might not need to sneak around anymore!
