Damian Spinelli May Be With Someone Else, But He Still Worries About “Maximista!”

Spinelli maybe with someone else, but he still worries about his “Maximista” as he used to call Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) when they were dating. She is the mother of their daughter, Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) so they will always be joined because of her. Now that he, Ellie Trout (Emily Wilson) and Georgie are moving back to Port Charles, he is extremely concerned about her being with Peter August, who he merely considers a clone of Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), similarly to what District Attorney Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) does.

Maxie finds this kind of prejudicial thinking extremely unfair to Peter, as her late husband Detective Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) was also Faison’s son – making him and Peter half-brothers! But Robert and Spinelli take something else into account – even though Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) wasn’t Mother Of The Year, she was no Faison and she raised Nathan, whereas Peter was raised by Faison – at least when he wasn’t in a Catholic boarding school!

Cesar Faison Was An Extremely Dangerous Man

As General Hospital viewers will recall, Faison was an extremely dangerous man, involved in all kinds of crime and murder. He kidnapped Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and her daughter Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) at least twice, being obsessed with Anna, and killed his own mother! He worked with Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roche) and Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) and was a DVX operative.

He also killed his own son, Nathan, although at the time he didn’t know Nathan was his son until Maxie cried out to him that Nathan was his son! Peter was also in the room at the time, and a few days later Faison was dead as well after suffering a heart attack five days after Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) shot him in the chest – Peter went in his hospital room and literally scared him to death with what he planned to expose him for, and swatted away the call button when he reached for it!

Peter then did everything he could to not be tied to his father and gradually did avoid Faison-like deeds – until he was blackmailed with his past being exposed by Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). He didn’t want anyone to know he had been more involved than he had claimed with kidnapping Drew Cain (Billy Miller) out of Afghanistan, working with Helena, and that he stashed Jason in the Boronsky Clinic for five years not just to save his life but to use to assassinate his father! General Hospital viewers have to wonder why he waited so long and didn’t off the old man himself!

Damian Spinelli Finds Proof Of Peter August Co-Opting Drew Cain’s Plane

Spinelli does what the WSB and the US Navy couldn’t – he finds cyber-proof of Peter co-opting Drew Cain’s plane and hiring fake pilots who must have had death wishes to intentionally crash the plane in the Gulf of Aden. There’s one small problem – no bodies have ever been found, so Peter can’t be charged with murder; however he can be charged with sabotage and attempted murder!

I want Peter and Maxie to make it through this senseless situation. I want Peter back on the road to redemption. I believe that Maxie can help Peter overcome his dark side. Maxie should quit Crimson and create her own magazine with Peter’s help. Peter already has the Invader and Maxie can have her new magazine. They can become a power couple in the media world. I hope that they will get to go to Paris finally. It might be nice if they got married and expanded the family at some point.
