General Hospital Spoilers: Stella’s Confession Makes Curtis See Jordan In A New Light

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveals it’s been weeks since Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) stepped in to cover for Stella Henry (Vernee Watson). Stella was courteous enough to confess the truth to Jordan — she had stolen Jordan’s signed divorce papers last summer with the intent of buying Jordan and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) more time to work their marriage out. But then Stella had a stroke, and the papers were tossed out in the midst of it all. With the memory only recently returning to her, she wanted to give Jordan a heads up first, and the police commish felt obliged to take the blame so Curtis wouldn’t be angry with his Aunt Stella. However, the truth is about to come to light, and it’s going to have a surprising effect on Curtis.

So far, Stella has been in the dark about the effect Jordan’s cover-up story has had on her relationship with Curtis. Had she been aware of how angry Curtis had been with Jordan, and how suspicious he had become about her motives, Stella would’ve told the truth long ago and put an end to Jordan’s charade. Of course, Jordan knows this and avoided telling Stella on purpose. Once she realizes what it has cost both Jordan and Curtis, she’s going to fess up.

GH Spoilers – Tease Portia Robinson Will Be Furious

General Hospital spoilers say Portia will be livid, and she’ll also be wondering why her hubby-to-be doesn’t share her fury. She has been angling for a new reason to get mad at Jordan. More importantly, she needs new fuel to add to the fire of Curtis being mad at Jordan. Any effort she can drum up to sow distrust may help her down the line when it’s her word against Jordan’s.

Why isn’t Curtis mad that Stella did this to them? Why isn’t he furious that Jordan created another lie to cover for it? Portia may try to emphasize that Jordan is still the liar she always was — especially as she grows more concerned that Jordan will soon tell Curtis the truth about Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) paternity — but Curtis won’t buy it.

General Hospital Spoilers — Curtis Ashford Isn’t Sure How He Feels, and Stella Henry Knows It

As Curtis comes to grips with the fact that Stella lied to him and stole his divorce papers, he’s also trying to reconcile the person he thought Jordan was isn’t who she is at all. His ex-wife’s compassion and willingness to forsake her relationship with Curtis if it meant protecting his relationship with his aunt won’t go unnoticed.

Stella will start to have some doubts, and she may be the first to point out to Curtis that it’s important he makes sure this divorce from Jordan and impending marriage to Portia is what he really wants.
