General Hospital’s Steve Burton, who played Jason Morgan until recently, posted a photo of former castmate and mentor, Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos), with the caption “Miss this guy” with an attached photo of Benard. Could Steve be coming back to G.H.?
General Hospital Spoilers – Jason Morgan Is Missing
General Hospital’s Jason is missing and presumed dead after the tunnel on Cassadine Island collapsed. Of course, the reason for this story is that Burton was let go from the soap for not getting the mandated Covid vaccine. Burton had put in for both medical and religious exemptions to the vaccine before he was let go but both of his requests were denied. At the time Burton left, he expressed his desire to come back as Jason if the mandate was even lifted by their parent company, Disney. Everyone has given up on Jason returning home because the WSB has found no signs of life in the tunnel. However, fans know this is not the first tunnel collapse that Jason has survived and may not be the last. Could Jason Morgan be about to make a miraculous recovery from his Cassadine tomb?
GH Spoilers – It Only Takes A Shot
The fastest way for Burton to return to the ABC soap is to simply give in and get the Covid vaccine. However, when Burton left he was pretty adamant that he was not going to let the company infringe on his religious or personal beliefs. Could Steve Burton have changed his mind and got the vaccine so he could return to the job he enjoyed so much? Has Burton rethought his decision and changed his mind? Disney has lifted its mandate in some places but California has not been one of them so far. It is highly unlikely that the mandate is gone. However, there is one other way that Burton may have gotten his job back.
General Hospital Spoilers – Request For Reconsideration
Could there be a way for the former General Hospital star to object to both of his exemptions being turned down? After all, hospital workers can claim religious exemptions so what can’t he? Burton didn’t seem interested in going into a court battle over this and even told fans not to act out on his behalf. Could one of his exemptions have been approved since his departure allowing him to come back on set? It is very unlikely that the fans are the reason that Burton is back because of Disney’s policies. However, Disney executives may have had to compare Burton’s requests with those approved because he was wrongly terminated?
Something must have changed if Burton does return, what do you think caused this change? Would you be happy to see Jason back on your G.H. screen?

Bring Jason Back
he didnt want to get the vaccination, re cast him, others have been recasted, he can also be recasted
I do and he is my favorite character. Millions have gotten the shot and we are ok. It’s no longer experimental in my opinion.
I agree. Plus,, this was his decision.
WHAT???
Millions have not got the shot and WE are fine and guess what my coworkers, friends and family are fine as well!!
I don't think you should lose your job over a vaccine that is experimental, they should of tested him once a week.
Yes please bring Jason back
Please, Bring Jason back you should have not taken him out don’t lose your onlooker for GH.
