General Hospital fans are all asking the same question: when will the hit ABC soap start filming again? Actor Steve Burton, who plays on the daytime television series, recently clued fans in. Here’s what you need to know.
Sharing a new update of the cast and crew back at work on the set of The Bold and the Beautiful, he didn’t share any details but rather just wrote, “Are we next?” signaling that he is definitely ready to get back in Jason Morgan mode and start filming new episodes of General Hospital sooner rather than later.
General Hospital Spoilers – Steve Burton Responds To B&B Filming New Episodes Again – Is GH Next?
Of course, it didn’t take very long for Steve’s fans to respond to his tweet, seeing how it was the first tweet that he has shared in a few weeks. Many comments from his social media followers included, “I hope and pray that you guys are going back to work. Time to create more stories for us. Port Charles is very lonely without you all there,” along with, “Steve you are giving us hope. It’s been way too long since we’ve seen new episodes. I hope you guys get the green light soon.”
Another fan said, “As much as I would love to watch general Hospital, I prefer that my favorite soap stars take all precautions listed by the CDC to stay safe first and foremost so that they and the ones they love are protected. We will be there when you guys get back to work!”
GH Spoilers – Port Charles Filming Next?
So far the producers of General Hospital have not made any comments as to when they plan on having their cast and crew return back to the studio, but seeing how B&B is already filming new episodes that will air by mid-July, there’s a good chance that GH, along with The Young and the Restless and Days of Our Lives will make statements sooner rather than later. I am VERY excited that new shows will soon be taped. However, it would be a huge surprise if the actors didn’t tell us they were back at work yet and then told us a week before that they have been filming and we will start showing the new shows next week. That way some of us wouldn’t twiddle our thumbs waiting to see the new shows.
