General Hospital spoilers reveal Steven Lars Webber (Scott Reeves) is headed back to Port Charles this week, and the longtime GH fans who have been around long enough to remember him only have one question in mind: Why? Steven can’t possibly have too many friends lying around Port Chuck at this point after what he did.
Killing a comatose patient who had been convicted of murder to save the life of a teen who needed their organs for a transplant was permissible in a few people’s books, but no one was saying it out loud. Now, Steven has paid his dues, but is he coming home just to reconnect with friends and family, or is there more to it?
General Hospital Spoilers — A Family Reunion
It’s entirely possible that Steven is just making a pit stop to check in on his family now that he’s out of prison.
His recent call to his sister, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), highlighted that he probably wouldn’t come home to visit because he wants nothing to do with his crazed mother, Heather Webber (Alley Mills).
But Reeves has already confirmed to the press that he did some scenes with Mills, so Steven Lars and his mommy dearest must have some interesting interactions coming up.
Will he consider giving her a second chance if he sees her as a new woman post-hip implant replacement?
GH Spoilers – Hint Are Steven Webber And Isaiah Gannon Linked By Their Pasts?
The gossip mill is churning with rumors that Steven’s background in transplant medicine could mean he already knows Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).
The new doc on the scene clearly has some secrets lurking in his past, and most of the fans aren’t buying the story he gave Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) about the patient who led him to quit working as a transplant surgeon.
Something just doesn’t add up. Could it be that the patient of his who died was the patient that Steven killed? Could these two have worked together in some capacity?
General Hospital Spoilers — It Could Be Steven Webber Who Kills Sam McCall
On the flipside, Isaiah may not have been a victim entirely in the situation if he was wrapped up with Steven in the past.
If he and Steven both thought they could get away with killing patients at random to harvest their organs as a means of granting mercy to people who they felt were more deserving of them, then maybe Isaiah is slated to jump back into those shoes this time around with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Lulu Falconeri (Alexa Havins).
Did he try to kill Lulu by botching her ventilator? Will he try to kill Sam to get more than just a liver from her? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead to see how this plays out.
