General Hospital Spoilers: Subliminal Messages And Hypnosis, Cyrus Controls His Listeners To Do His Bidding?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) may be employing subliminal messages and hypnosis to control his “flock”. He may be incorporating these into his radio messages to influence his listeners to do his bidding.

General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Helped Cyrus Renault Get His Radio Show

Before she lost Crimson and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) helped Cyrus get radio time for his broadcast as payment for him to keep her secrets.

He did encourage her to confess, however but the secrets came out before she could, and he took a severe beating from Sonny because of it.

However, true to her promise Cyrus did get his radio time and now has a broadcast called “Searching With Cyrus”.

Cyrus claims to have had a Damascus Road type of conversion, which refers to that which the Apostle Paul had in the Bible.

He claims to be reformed and wants to spread the good news but Laura Collins (Genie Francis) suspects ulterior motives.

GH Spoilers – Not Impressed

When the show first aired on the episode of February 16, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) wasn’t impressed and wanted Laura to turn it off. But Laura insisted she listens to it because she is on a mission of her own, to uncover the truth of Cyrus’ so-called conversion.

She told Kevin she wants to uncover what Cyrus is REALLY saying, so she is listening VERY carefully-even though Kevin is the cipher and code expert in the family.

Laura is listening between the lines and this exchange could be a huge hint about what’s really going on with that radio broadcast.

Of course, Laura is not listening for coded messages or subliminal influences, but still, that may be exactly what is happening.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ryan Chamberlain Used Post-Hypnotic Suggestions-Might Cyrus Renault?

Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) used post-hypnotic suggestions when he switched with Kevin in Ferncliff to influence others, might Cyrus on his radio show?

If Cyrus has learned that skill he may have been using it in Pentonville which could explain Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) bizarre behavior as of late.

Subliminal messages and post-hypnotic suggestions were also used by Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) in conjunction with tarot cards.

If either that or possibly just coded messages that mean other things to certain of Cyrus’ listeners are involved, between Kevin and Laura they should figure it out. Needless to say, if they do and they can prove it, that’ll pull the plug on Preacher Cyrus’ scam!
