Suzanne Knows Alexis’s Secret
General Hospital spoilers remind fans that Suzanne’s suspicion about Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) being Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooter was confirmed during the week of January 19-23.
Suzanne claims that she thought Willow might be the shooter during the rehearsal she had at Alexis’s home with Willow and Drew recently.
The assistant went on to say Willow’s demeanor seemed to be that of a guilty party; Alexis’s slip-up in court during her closing statement and everything she did after that also confirmed what Suzanne believed.
Suzanne reassured Alexis that she did the right thing by defending Willow and getting her exonerated. At the end of the day, the lawyer needed to do what was best for her granddaughter, Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante). Suzanne was all #TeamAlexis during her speech, which prompted the defense attorney to thank her: not only being an incredible assistant, but good friend, too.

Is There More To This?
Suzanne seems to be getting more airtime on the soap, which is great, because the character is a scene-stealer, and Jen Ray is a delight to see on canvas.
With that said, could Suzanne turn dark? What if Suzanne is a plant, working for Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota)? Suzanne has not only cozied up to Alexis but also has a strong bond with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Is this all an act to stab Sonny in the back?
Then again, because it was Alexis who had the warm moment with Suzanne, there’s a good chance she betrays her boss. What would happen if it were proven that Alexis knew Willow was the shooter, but remained quiet about it?
How would Drew feel – assuming he’s back up and at ‘em when Suzanne betrays Alexis? Either way, there could be something very off about the sweet and good-natured assistant, and she could end up causing a lot of trouble for Alexis!
