General Hospital’s Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) is at his wit’s end on how to save himself and Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) from Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Taggert knows that he and Jordan are in grave danger and will turn to the one person he knows can help take down Cyrus for good. Taggert will approach Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for help. Why would Sonny even consider helping Taggert, the man who has tried to take him down for years?

Taggert vowed years ago to take Sonny down, especially after he started the Corinthos organization. Sonny took over the mob after killing Joe who had attempted to kill him. Taggert became a Port Charles police officer and was constantly after both Sonny and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Sonny doesn’t owe Taggert any consideration let alone loyalty.

General Hospital’s Cyrus made the mistake of targeting Sonny. If Cyrus had not come after Sonny and his family, Sonny would not consider helping Taggert. However, Sonny does not allow drugs in his territory and he’s not about to start now. Cyrus tried to kill not only Sonny and Jason but Mike Corbin (Max Gail), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Cyrus’ days have been number since these attacks. Sonny will take down Cyrus, not for Taggert but to keep his family and Port Charles safe.

General Hospital Spoilers – Laura Collins Wants Sonny Corinthos To End This

General Hospital’s Laura Collins (Genie Frances) wants Sonny to put an end to this situation with Cyrus. However, Laura doesn’t realize that Cyrus is not in Port Charles because of Sonny. Taggert nor Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) are likely to inform the mayor that Cyrus is after them for framing him when they were DEA agents. After all, if the fact came out that Cyrus was frame, he would be free to wreak havoc wherever he wants. Jordan nor Taggert can afford to take that risk because they would be in trouble themselves. Jordan and Taggert cannot afford for this information to come out. Sonny will end this with their part in Cyrus’ conviction intact.

General Hospital’s Taggert has no right to ask Sonny for anything. However, Sonny feels the need to stop Cyrus and he will do what he needs to do to make that happen. Taggert and Sonny will never be friends but Sonny will protect his family and his territory and Taggert as well. It is time to stop Cyrus, and Sonny will work with whoever he needs to in order to take Cyrus down.
