Kim Nero Was The Mother Of Drew Cain’s Late Son Oscar Nero, And Has A Son By Julian Jerome

General Hospital viewers will remember that Kim was the mother of Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) late son Oscar Nero (Garren Lake Stitt) and also has a son by Julian Jerome (William DeVry).

She left Port Charles devastated over the loss of Oscar, who died of a brain tumor-he was also Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) first boyfriend, at a very tender age.

She had a short relationship with Julian, but then moved away-the last time she was mentioned on the ABC soap, she was living in New York City and the boy’s photo was on a table-she named him Andy, after “Andrew”.

After Oscar died, she tried to seduce Drew so they could make another child, but he wasn’t interested in her-Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) was little, and occupying his time.

She worked as an ob/gyn and there is always a place in hospitals for obstetricians and gynecologists.

Kim Had Her Own Problems, But She May Be The One Person Who Could Get Drew Back To Normal

Kim certainly had her own problems, but she may be the one person who could get Drew back to normal, as she knew him before he was kidnapped by Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers).

She was mostly a normal person before Oscar died, and her grief and loss broke her-that’s why she had the short relationship with Julian, to have another child.

It seems like Drew has gotten at least some of his memories before the memory transfer back, as he did mention some details about his high school and hearing about the Quartermaines.

Apparently he knew about his twin Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) or at least it was implied-but he never cared to look the family up and reveal himself.

He’s never mentioned his adoptive parents either, so it’s unknown if they died, or what happened to them.

Might Kim Be Just What Drew Needs In His Life Now?

Might Kim be just what Drew needs in his life now, even though he may not realize it? It’s surprising Kim hasn’t been in touch, surely a Congressman’s having a stroke and paralysis would have been on the news!

Not to mention when he was shot-but then, maybe she didn’t want to bring her son into a world of turmoil.

If Kim does return to Port Charles with Andy, that means Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) will have a younger half-brother, and Andy is probably around the age of Scout. That could be very meaningful to them both, since they’ve both lost loved ones recently.
