Viewers know that Tamara Braun is set to leave “General Hospital” as Dr. Kim Nero. First introduced as a recast Carly Corinthos, Braun joined the soap back in 2001. She left the show after four years and returned once again back in 2017 when she was introduced as Kim. It’s been revealed that the actress will be last seen by the viewers on-screen on November 18.
General Hospital Spoilers – Tamara Braun’s Career
Many viewers will recognize Braun for her amazing performance as Ava Vitali on “Days of Our Lives.” She even earned a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress back in 2009. She also got Emmy nominations for her portrayal of Carly Corinthos. Her alter ego was the romantic partner of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Lorenzo Alcazar (Ted King).
When she left “General Hospital” in 2005, she starred in the independent movie “Little Chenier.” She also appeared as pastry chef Rose on four episodes of “Freddie.” She was also in the “Limbo Lounge,” which was directed by Tom Pankratz. She had a guest appearance on “Cold Case” in 2006 and “Ghost Whisperer” in 2007. She also joined the cast of “Without a Trace” during its season premiere back in 2007.
She joined the NBC soap opera “Days of Our Lives” in 2008 as Ava Vitali. She didn’t stay that long but she managed to nab a Daytime Emmy award for Best Supporting Actress. Later in 2008, she joined “All My Children” as Reese Williams and then landed the role of Renee Ellen on TNT’s “Saving Grace” as Holly Hunter.

She returned to “Days of Our Lives” in February 2011 and took over the role of Taylor Walker from Natalia Livingston. She was let go in September of that same year. Fast forward in July 2015, Braun reprised her role on “Days of Our Lives” as the show celebrated its 50th anniversary. She left a year after and then in 2017, she returned to “General Hospital” in a new role of Kim Nero.

Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will lose his temper after agreeing to help Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) in reclaiming his Cassadine Fortune. He’ll be shocked when he discovers that Nikolas helped Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) escape and had a hand at kidnapping an innocent little girl.
The news of Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) will spread like wildfire and everyone will be worried. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will do whatever he can to protect his daughter. Fortunately, Charlotte will return safely. What could possibly happen to Cassandra given what she’s done to Valentin’s daughter?
