General Hospital Spoilers: Teens In Danger – Trina More Determined To Clear Her Father, She And Joss Play Detective

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that in Port Charles, NY Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) is more determined than ever to clear her father. She and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will be playing detective in upcoming episodes of GH!

General Hospital Spoilers – Trina Robinson Doesn’t Like That Her Father’s Good Name Has Been Dragged Through The Mud!

Trina (Sydney Mikayla)  doesn’t like that her father’s good name has been drug through the mud! General Hospital viewers will recall that Port Charles Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) did exactly that when she cleared Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). She threw her entire former DEA team under the bus, including Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews).

At the time, Taggert was the only one left alive after Bob Massicotte (Randy J. Goodwin) and Mark Simon (uncredited actor) died of fabricated drug overdoses. After Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Trina were kidnapped by Renault’s thugs on the way to a school, Curtis Ashford, (Donnell Turner) Jason Morgan, (Steve Burton), and Taggert, Trina’s father, rescued them amidst a shootout with the henchmen. Taggert was shot, but was okay – he was taken to General Hospital.

But, he didn’t stay okay for long – at least not as far as Trina and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) know. Shortly after he was operated on to remove the bullet, he sent Trina to get him a candy bar and when she came back, she was told he had died of a blood clot that went to his brain! Trina, of course, was devastated! In a remembrance ceremony later, she lashed out at Curtis for not saving her father!

GH Spoilers – Marcus Taggert’s “Death” Has Made Trina Robinson More Determined To Salvage His Good Name And Reputation

Trina is even more angry at Jordan than she is at Curtis, for throwing her father under the bus! His “death” has made her even more determined to salvage his good name and reputation. Trina, Joss, and Cameron originally agreed to try to get police and DEA records somehow to clear his name. Now that Cameron’s family needs him, with his stepfather Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) ill and Cam having a broken leg, the girls embark on their mission without him.

They decide to play detective, first seeing what they can find on the Internet about the mission. Jordan and her team had in fact manufactured evidence in order to get a conviction, so Cyrus was wrongly imprisoned, but that doesn’t mean he’s innocent! They try looking for Cyrus’ prison records and court convictions and find it has all been wiped. They can’t even find an exoneration. It’s like the takedown never happened at all. Trina is determined to find something that will clear her dad’s name from being thought of as a dirty cop.

They are shocked to find how far back Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Taggert go, though – they never knew that Taggert’s mentor, Deke Woods (uncredited actor) was Sonny’s stepfather! Trina recalled Deke’s name from her dad talking about him, and Joss heard it from Mike Corbin (Max Gail) talking about Sonny as a young teenager. They haven’t found much other than Taggert’s previous police records and commendations, but it’s a start. Trina and Joss will continue digging!
