General Hospital Spoilers: Terrified Esmé Early Labor, Heather Forced To Be Midwife?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Heather Webber (Alley Mills) go on the run, taking their daughter with them. But one thing neither Ryan nor Heather will count on is a terrified Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) going into early labor and Heather forced to be her midwife!

General Hospital Spoilers – Ryan Chamberlain Makes Delays

Heather thinks time is of the essence for the family to break out of Spring Ridge after Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) attempt to trick her into giving up her baby. Even Heather was shocked that it was Nikolas, not Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) who was the father-not to mention Esmé herself, who was appalled. Heather doesn’t know that seducing Nikolas was part of Ryan’s plan to get Ava Jerome (Maura West) back for himself, and if she did, she’d be livid at Ryan.

It’s no surprise to Heather that Ryan wants to make delays on their escape, wanting to tie up loose ends with Ava and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) first. So when they make their escape, Heather may take Esmé on with her, leaving Ryan behind-hopefully after he reverses her traumatic amnesia, without which she may not go with them willingly.

GH Spoilers – They May Wind Up Hiding On Spoon Island

They may start out together but be delayed by Ryan, who’ll make a bold move at Wyndemere – there’s no way Esmé would want to go to the castle again. But Heather knows the island like the back of her hand and may know somewhere else on the island to hide, she too once was thrown in the harbor.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Heather probably intends to get back off the island with Esmé but things may not go as she planned-while Ryan’s committing mayhem at Wyndemere, Esmé’s water breaks! Heather knows there is no way Esmé can make it through the tunnels back to the mainland, so she may take her to the stableman’s quarters at the Cassadine stables. By this time Esmé knows Heather is her birth mother, even though Ryan didn’t want her to know and they hide out in the stableman’s quarters.

General Hospital Spoilers – Heather Webber’s Forced To Be Midwife

Heather may have preferred an obstetrician to deliver her grandchild, but it looks like she’ll have to be a midwife. Even Ryan with his pediatric training would have been better, but he’s too obsessed with whatever he’s doing at the castle! Esmé mentions Nikolas’ kind servant Demetrius (Ari Kappatos) but Heather tells her they can’t risk looking for him; for all Esmé knows Ava fired him when she got the castle.

Heather has a burner phone but can’t risk calling Ryan, and besides, he’s so obsessed with Ava and Felicia she’d rather kick him to the curb. There in the stableman’s quarters, Heather tries to calm a terrified Esmé who must give birth with no painkillers and whether anyone’s listening or not, prays there are no complications!
