General Hospital Spoilers: The Cassadines Go To War!

General Hospital Spoilers tease that the revelation that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is alive and well should have lasting ramifications on the entire Cassadine family. For the longest time, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) was the only Cassadine in Port Charles. But that was only because Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was revealed to have no claim to the Cassadine fortune. But if Victor is telling the truth, he is actually Valentin’s father, making him a real Cassadine after all.

General Hospital Spoilers – Victor Cassadine And Nikolas Cassadine Have Been Working Together!

When Nikolas was believed dead, it was Victor who helped nurse him back to health. Nikolas, in turn seemingly gave Victor the compound in Greece where Drew Cain (Cameron Matheson) was held prisoner. But if Victor really is Valentin’s father, it seems strange that he didn’t give Valentin any warning that Nikolas was alive and planning to take back the Cassadine fortune. But now that Victor is also in Port Charles, perhaps his real agenda will become clear.

Victor has hinted that he has an agenda on General Hospital. Given his family’s history, he could be planning to freeze the world, or bringing back dead Cassadine family members. He wanted to keep Drew alive so that he would have a mercenary that he could control. And since he is working overtime to forge a relationship with Valentin, he must need Valentin’s help, as well as Nikolas’. But is he planning to pit them against each other in order to distract them from his real plans, whatever they are?

The animosity between Nikolas and Valentin goes back years now.  General Hospital spoilers reveal Valentin was the one who shot Nikolas, causing his friends and family to believe him dead for three years. Can they put aside their animosity for the greater good? It’s unclear at this point if Valentin has any claim to the Cassadine empire given Victor’s revelation. But if he does, then the two of them may have no choice then to help each other. But the question remains, whose side is Victor really on?
