General Hospital Spoilers: The Davis Ladies Are Still In For A World Of Hurt Ahead With Another Funeral To Plan Soon

General Hospital spoilers reveal the funeral for baby Irene Marie Davis Ashford was far from a walk in the park. While we were certainly missing a few friendly faces in the church pews, the people who mattered the most were there to support the Davis and Ashford families in their time of need. Emphasis was on Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) sitting beside Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) while Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) was flanked in comfort from her father, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), and partner, TJ Ashford (Tahj Bellow).

Getting through that funeral without arguing over who loved her more was all that Molly and Kristina could do — and eventually, their tempers erupted at the gravesite. That trauma has left likely-lasting scars on this family, and it’s not over yet. Rumor has it Sam will soon suffer a similar fate and be laid to rest. How will the Davis girls ever bounce back from this double-hitter?

Kristina and Molly have hardly kissed and made up. These sisters need some time and space to figure out how they find their way back to one another.

Although Alexis pushed Kristina to figure that out, she made it clear she’s nowhere near ready to consider letting Molly back into her life.

In fact, she felt it would be impossible now that she knows how her sister seems to really feel about her. Right now, it looks like there may be no going back for these two.

Initially, the grief Molly and Kristina were both going through seemed like it may have bonded them in some way.

When we saw Molly sit by Kristina’s bedside in the hospital as she heard the news that the baby was a girl and didn’t survive, it seemed like they were in a shared amount of pain and they mutually understood that. But the more that Kristina’s grief came to the forefront, the more Molly couldn’t take it any longer.

However, Sam’s unexpected and shocking death could bring forth a new opportunity for them to come together in shared grief — the kind where neither of them are in competition over who is hurting more.
