General Hospital Spoilers: The Gio Truth Unveiled! Can Sonny, Olivia, and Lois Survive the Fallout?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate it’s only a matter of time until the secret surrounding Gio Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) true biological parents is revealed, and Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) should brace for some major backlash.

There will be plenty of people who will be upset that she held on to this secret, but will this place a wedge between her friendships with besties, Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)?

Lois Will Rack Up The Enemies

There will be plenty of people upset at Lois for keeping this secret, namely, Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) since the two had originally kept BLQ’s teen pregnancy underwraps.

The very idea that Brook Lynn watched her own son grow up and then live in the same house as him for months without knowing will upset her. Not to mention Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Gio stands to be angry at Lois, too.

Especially since he’s lived recent years as a young orphan, when his bio families are both multi-millionaires.

But money aside, Gio likely would’ve simply wanted a family to lean on and be a part of. Will time heal all wounds between Gio and Lois? They do have a special bond, but can he forgive her?

How Upset Will Sonny & Olivia Be?

Sonny is a pretty chill friend. He may be a little mad at Lois, but he’ll ultimately understand why she did what she did. Lois was probably the person who placed the idea in Sonny’s ear to help pay for Gio’s needs over the years. He won’t hold a grudge.

Olivia, on the other hand, will be outraged. As the baby was given for adoption to someone in the community, she may be angered at both Brook Lynn and Lois for not keeping her in the loop. What if she or Dante wanted to raise Gio?

Not giving her that option and potentially feeling as if years have been wasted, not being there for Gio, as a grandmother, will upset Olivia. Will she and Lois be able to get past this?
