He shared enchanting stories about his musical journey, discussed his love for books, spoke fondly of his family, and highlighted the transformative power of prayer.
It was truly an episode filled with inspiration, and how prayer helps many people in times of distress. Usually, the topic of “State Of Mind” is getting through rough times focusing on mental health so this may have been a first.

As they explored the themes for the episode, Benard shared a poignant chapter from his life that underscored the power of friendship.
He reflected on the unwavering support he received from his two friends, Jackson and Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).
Approximately four months prior, he found himself navigating a particularly tough period, one he was unaccustomed to facing alone.
Yet, Jonathan and Steve came to his aid, and together they engaged in deep, meaningful prayer during those challenging days, transforming the experience into something profoundly beautiful.
After two days of sincere supplication, Bernard emerged with a revitalized sense of hope.

He shared, “Prayer truly has an impact; I felt a shift in my well-being. But the reality was that I was in such a chaotic state that I ended up consulting around 25 doctors, only to find myself slipping back again. Yet, those two days were absolutely incredible.”
He pondered, “It opened my eyes to the essence of friendship, as I’ve rarely turned to friends for support in times like these—it’s usually been Paula or my son.” Jonathan remarked that, although it’s obvious, these experiences are ones he wouldn’t wish upon anyone.
GH Spoilers – Jonathan Reminisced About His Grecian Journeys
Jonathan continued, still, being there for a friend in such challenging moments is one of the greatest honors and privileges he has ever known.
He also reminisced about his numerous journeys to Greece over the past ten years, where he met remarkable Christian monks who pray 8 to 14 hours each.
At the break of dawn, precisely at 3:00 a.m., they awaken, candles flickering softly as they pour their hearts into fervent prayers for the world. Jackson reflected, “I think that’s where the grace truly originated.”
