General Hospital Spoilers: The Mystery Surrounding Dev Deepens

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the drama surrounding Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) will continue into the near future. Since his arrival in Port Charles earlier this year, Dev has been a lot of trouble. But could he be even more trouble than we know?
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) has taken the young man into their home. Sonny wants to repay Dev for helping him when we was in Turkey. Dev helped save Sonny’s life at the time.
So when Dev showed up in Port Charles, Sonny has felt an obligation to make sure he was well cared for. He had papers created showing that Dev is a long lost cousin of his. So now Dev is, on paper at least, a member of Sonny’s family.
General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Not Keen On The Adoption
But recently Sonny has brought up the idea of adopting Dev to Carly. This isn’t the best idea that Carly has heard. She has concerns about making the young man, who none of them even knew mere months ago, a permanent part of their family. They already have a lot going on, between Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) grief over Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) and Carly’s own difficult pregnancy.
Carly is concerned about Dev’s close proximity to Joss. She’s been through so much this year and with the new school year starting, her stress levels are already high. Carly feels that Dev’s continued presence isn’t good for the young girl.
Carly just wants her daughter to have a normal junior year of high school. And Dev is an unknown quantity. He could end up causing the Corinthios clan unnecessary trouble.
General Hospital Spoilers – Could Dev Cerci Be The Son Of An Alcazar?
It’s very possible that Dev isn’t actually who we think he is. The way he came into Sonny’s world is suspicious at best. What if all of it was a plan by one of Sonny’s enemies to get an “inside man” in both Sonny’s business and personal lives. Sonny has made a lot of enemies over the years, but one of the most lethal was the Alcazar family.
Both Lorenzo and Luis Alcazar (Ted King) were Sonny’s rival for many years. Sonny eventually took them both down but what if Dev is actually the biological son of one of them? He’s placed himself in the perfect position to take down Sonny’s family from the inside. There is no limit to the amount of damage he could do?

First the writers said he was Shiloh’s son now they talking like he may not be well if he’s not who the hell is he
I say make him Ava’s long lost son. It would be ironic since Sonny has started to care so much about Dev.
He’s Brenda and Sonny’s son
I cannot stand this character. Hopefully the storyline ends and they re direct . He does not fit in Sonny’s world or Carly’s. Just my opinion.

DEV PROBABLY IS HIDING SOMETHING. THE WRITTERS ALWAYS WRITE THE SAME ON ALL THE SOAPS. THE BABY LINE HAS DRAGGED OUT TOOOOO LONG AS USUAL & ONCE YOU’VE SEEN 1 STORYLINE YOU’VE SEEN THEM ALL JUST ON DIFFERENT SOAPS, THEIR VERY REDUNDANT. THE FINNS BABY LINE & ITS NOT SAID AS TO WHY SHE EVEN KEPT HER BABY FROM FINN!
He cannot be Brenda’s son. That would mean Brenda died. Besides she was rich and her kid would not be homeless in the streets of Ankara. If Brenda was pregnant when she left with Alec the Dev’s age does not add up.
My concern is that he is an Alcazar or Jerome. I just hope not. I would not like him to be Sonny’s but I just do not want him to have some dark agenda.
It’s a soap, of course it’s got a back story! The kid himself could have “bad men” after him. Or he can be a “plant” from someone trying to get Sonny.
My friend and I have thought about your comment, not entirely impossible with creative story writing and yet another rewrite of history. Hope he is not turned in a devious, underhanded person. The GH teen scene needs a few more characters, and since Dev is already on canvas, he would fit the bill in my opinion.
