General Hospital Spoilers — Helena Cassadine
If there was a word for describing how Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) life mirrored her death, it would be: foreshadowing. First poisoned back in 1999 by her own son, Stefan Cassadine (Stephen Nichols), she would later die of apparent natural causes in 2015. One year later, it was revealed she was actually poisoned by her grandson, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). Of course, this was eleven years after Nikolas pushed her off a cliff, when she was presumed dead the first time. We’ll let you be the judge as to which is more unbelievable.
GH Spoilers — Ryan Chamberlain’s Dive Into Icy Waters
In an attempt to evade being captured by the police, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) grabbed hold of his obsession, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), and jumped over a footbridge into the icy Canadian waters below in the Winter of 2019. While Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) stepped in just in time to grab Ava’s hand and save her life, Ryan fell to what was presumed to be his. That is, until he resurfaced, alive.

General Hospital Spoilers — Victor Jerome Got Choked Up
In the late 1980s, Victor Jerome (Jack Axelrod) found himself falling for the charms of Ms. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). We’re pretty sure the Deception mogul knew how to mislead a man from the time she was born. That being said, this one wasn’t her fault, and Victor’s obsession wasn’t invited. When Lucy rejected Victor’s advances, his next move was one no one saw coming. He clutched a diamond pendant he had specifically made for Lucy — and swallowed it, choking to death.
GH Spoilers — Mary Pat Ingles Knew Too Much
Mary Pat Ingles’ (Patricia Bethune) life was likely stamped for death long before she knew it. The Ferncliff head nurse was under the impression Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) was keeping his sadistic twin brother Ryan Chamberlain locked up in the facility. Little did she know, it was Ryan who had managed to get Kevin locked up in his place. When Mary Pat attempted to blackmail the man she thought was Kevin by threatening to expose the secretive lock-up of his twin, Ryan — disguised as Kevin — stabbed and decapitated Mary Pat with a longshoreman’s hook, leaving her head in a barrel of apples that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) would later discover in horror.

Mikkos Cassadine (John Colicos) always said he would one day dominate the entire world by freezing the whole globe. Don’t ask us how he was going to manage that one, but he went out in style after a scuffle with Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) that led to Mikkos being thrown into his own deep freeze chamber where he perished.
GH Spoilers — Katherine Bell’s Penultimate Parapet Scene, Twice Over
Katherine Bell (Mary Beth Evans) died not once – but twice – and both times from falling off the parapet at Wyndemere. The first time, Helena was there to make sure Katherine was given an experimental drug that brought her back to life. The second time, Helena pushed Katherine to her death with no intent to revive her.
General Hospital Spoilers — Stavros Cassadine — Both Times
Stavros Cassadine (Robert Kelker-Kelly) also met his fate on two separate occasions on GH. Stavros’ first death was presumed to have occurred after a struggle with Luke Spencer caused him to fall into a bottomless pit. Don’t worry, he somehow bounced back from that death 12 years later. Sadly, it was only so he too could be frozen to death in a cryogenic chamber where Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) was being stored. Lulu was saved and Stavros was killed — or was he just frozen? Is he still on ice? Stay tuned!
