General Hospital spoilers gossip Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) parted ways with Port Charles just before Halloween in 2024.

Her untimely and sudden death might have shocked her loved ones, but the fan base knew it was coming for weeks and many strongly opposed it in hopes that their protests would somehow make it not happen.

When it did, it’s hard to say how many truly swore off the show and never returned. But a leak surfaced earlier this year claiming Sam may actually be coming back into the fold. Now, more intel has surfaced suggesting there are signs on the horizon that it’s true! Hold onto your hats, Sam fans!

It’s Just a Leak

Fair warning: This is just a leak. It’s not confirmed, and none of the actors from the GH cast have spoken on it, to my knowledge, nor has McCall. Still, it’s not an entirely unreliable account either, because this same leaker has reportedly been right about several early leaks in the past.

Let’s get on with it. The leaker claims a leading lady from the past was potentially coming back to the canvas, and that her former leading man co-star had been badgering Frank Valentini to call Monaco over the 2025 holiday season and make it happen.

GH Spoilers Tease There May Be Bad Blood

There’s just one problem with this leak: Frank and Kelly are rumored to have bad blood between them. Early on, Kelly promised to come forward with all the dirty details of what really happened behind the scenes, but then she never came through with that story.

That has left some fans wondering if the story wasn’t really as she had previously claimed, while others have assumed the show found a way to silence her. Either way, it didn’t sound like a breeding ground for a future professional relationship.

Heads Up This Spring

While it sounds pretty grim and like this whole leak could be wrapped up in a bunch of wishful thinking, I don’t think it’s hopeless. The same source has returned with more information — a new layer to this leak, if you will.

They’re reporting that Sam’s name is going to come into focus more this Spring, specifically between April and June. That might make for some pretty remarkable timing because that is the same timeline in which Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is going to be out of the picture — kidnapped.
