General Hospital spoilers say that this could easily be an idea that a lot of people would back without a doubt. A lot of fans can’t help but wonder if it might be time to bring Robin Scorpio back. But this time around, the character should be recast with none other than Gina Tognoni.
The last time that fans saw Gina on the small screen was when she played Phyllis Summers on The Young and the Restless.
This Actor Might Come Back As Robin Scorpio
Some fans have even suggested that it might be time to return the setting back to General Hospital and give the mob and Port Charles Police Department some much needed rest.
Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about this suggestion.
Many even commented with, “I would love to see Gina on GH and I 100% believe that she had amazing chemistry with JT. I’d take her casting in any capacity, but honestly, I lean towards a Skye recast or either a new character…. Maybe a new doctor if they can lure JT back as Patrick.”
Will Gina Tognoni Come Back?
Another critic wrote, “Bringing back a legacy (notice I didn’t say major) character with a new actor requires skillful writing and planning which is why it’s rarely done. I think they should leave well enough alone.”
“Everyone would be pissed if Robin is recast and then she is trashed or becomes someone who is completely unrecognizable due to poor writing and the new actress’ inability to turn sh*t into sugar because they don’t understand the nuances of the character.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I Like Gina, but No, No, No And No. I don’t feel she fits Robin at all. Assuming Kimberly never returns, aside from a Robert Memorial episode.”
“I think Elizabeth Hendrickson, from Y&R, could be a solid recast, even though she played a GH character already… Whether or not any actor would be accepted as Robin, is another question.”
It goes without saying that GH fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.

No Gina and no Elizabeth either. Both are good actresses, but not as Robin.
Bring Robin back. MISS HER.
Theres only one Robin, that’s Kimberly. No recast.
Gina would be awesome in ANY female role. She’s that good. But that wouldn’t matter to a lot of the judgy critics who watch. GH could hire the best actress under the sun, but if it’s not who they want, they won’t accept her. Not only that, but they’d be hatefully and mercilessly trashing her. They do it to almost every recast – most of them before they’ve even been on screen. Maybe GH could get Gina to play a new doctor. Portia is probably gonna get fired and lose her license, so they’ll need another one anyway.
Absolutely not! There is only one Robin Scorpio and it ain’t either one of them! I could see one of them as possibly Skye!
I absolutely agree with you Kimberly McCullough created the roll as a little girl let her play Robin. I know that they aren’t body shaming
If it isn’t Kimberly, don’t bring her back. She has been Robin since she was six. I read she was coming back in Sept or Oct. and have been looking forward to it. If it’s not her, I won’t be watching. You already changed Emma too much.
Love to have Robin come back but only if Kimberly is still her character. What would happen with her marriage to Patrick. It would be too much of a upheavl to bring back the whole family but then again any thing is possible with soaps.
Please, Please do not bring back Robin if it is not played by Kimberly, I hate 99 percent of the replacements this is a character we have known for years DO NOT replace the actress.
