General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, January 23, tease that the action is really heating up on the ABC soap. But before we get to that, we have a quick programming note. As you probably know, GH did not air on Tuesday and Wednesday due to the impeachment hearings. Assuming that ABC gets back to regular broadcasting on Thursday, we have the scoop about what you can expect right here.

General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos Puts A Plan In Motion

First, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will take a meeting with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and the topic will be the troubling situation going down with Sonny’s business empire. Recently, one of the Corinthos Coffee trucks was hijacked and burned, and Sonny and Jason believe that someone may have been trying to send a message to Sonny and making a move on his territory.

Well, on the next episode of General Hospital, Sonny will give Jason some instructions about how to proceed. Sonny won’t want to just sit by and let someone get away with making a move on his turf, so he’ll have an idea. But he’ll want it to be precise and for it to work – he won’t want an incident. He’ll just want to take care of business.

General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Cassadine Agrees To Ava Jerome’s Request, On One Condition

Meanwhile, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will be back to pestering Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) about that pesky post-nuptial agreement. As GH viewers know, Ava is demanding that Nikolas sign a post-nup before she’ll cough up the original version of the codicil to Mikkos Cassadine’s (John Colicos) will. And of course, Nikolas wants that codicil more than anything, since it will strip Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) of his fortune and return it to him.

Well, it looks like Nikolas may agree to Ava’s terms, but he’ll have a condition of his own. Exactly what that condition will be remains to be seen, but it will likely be something pretty big. Perhaps Nikolas will want Ava’s help in getting back in Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicolas Bechtel) good graces, since he recently saw how much Ava appears to care about Spencer’s well-being.

General Hospital Spoilers: Charlotte Cassadine Has To Answer To Lulu Spencer

Next on GH, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) will have some explaining to do. Her mom, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan), will show up at Crimson to pick her up and she’ll notice something unusual. Amongst Charlotte’s things will be a cut-up photo of Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). Lulu will want to know what’s going on and how the photo got cut up.

As GH viewers know, Charlotte was cutting up photos for a school project when she noticed the Crimson cover mockup that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sasha had been talking about earlier. Charlotte then creepily cut up the photo, so she seems to have some hostility toward Sasha, which at some level makes sense. After all, she probably sees Sasha as the reason why Nina and her papa didn’t get married.

General Hospital Spoilers: Josslyn Jacks Floats An Idea About The Adoption

Other General Hospital spoilers say that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will speak with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) about the situation involving Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Wiley Cooper-Jones (Theo and Erik Olson). As GH viewers know, Michael is very worried about Brad’s judgment as a parent, since he’s been allowing Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) to be around Wiley.

Of course, that’s an unacceptable move as far as Michael is concerned, and Josslyn will wonder whether Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) could revoke Wiley’s adoption to Brad and Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) and reclaim Wiley. It looks like Willow might be thinking the same thing, since she’ll tell Sasha that she’s deeply concerned about Brad’s judgment in parenting Wiley.

General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Corinthos Warns Nelle Benson Archer

Finally, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will issue Nelle a fierce warning. As GH viewers know, Nelle and Carly have just encountered each other at the Metro Court. It’s been a while since these ladies have been face to face, and Nelle will needle Carly per usual. It looks like she’ll bring up the tragic death of Jonah Corinthos, aka Wiley. Carly will then tell Nelle to stop bringing up Jonah. We’ll see if Nelle complies – knowing Nelle, that will just make her more persistent.
