General Hospital Spoilers Thursday, January 28: Nina’s Pendant Puzzle And Fury – Sonny Makes a Deal – Jason’s New Peter Strategy

General Hospital: Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, January 28, tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will wonder what contingency plan Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) has in mind. She’ll grill Franco, but it may be Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) who pipes up to explain. It’s safe to say Sam will agree that having Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) agree to kill Franco is a horrible idea.

Of course, Franco will point out that it’s only if dangerous warning signs return, but Sam should see the potential for serious trouble here. Trouble could be brewing from Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) as well since she was staring at a syringe in an exam room when GH last left off.

Will drunk Alexis try to jab Franco with that syringe? Alexis is obviously worried about Franco causing serious harm to her loved ones again, so she might take action this drastic with alcohol added to the equation.

General Hospital Spoilers  – Jason Morgan Shifts His Strategy

Whatever the case, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will be called to GH to deal with an “incident” soon after. Chase will wonder if Alexis was a witness, but she just might’ve been the perpetrator if an attack on Franco has indeed gone down by then.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Jason will shift his strategy. After questioning Peter August (Wes Ramsey) about the threats he made against Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), Britt will fill Jason in on Peter’s deception. She’ll explain about Peter swiping Franco’s medical records after lying that he’d find his info another way.

Jason will advise against calling the cops, which will surprise Britt at first. However, Britt will eventually get what Jason’s up to. Jason will try to act like Peter’s moves were justified since he also views Franco as a threat. Peter will think they should form an alliance, so Jason will sort of pretend he’s on board.

Once Jason’s alone with Britt, he’ll explain why he thinks this tactic will work. Britt will have her doubts about that, but she’ll try to trust Jason’s judgment. General Hospital spoilers say Britt will privately deal with some alarming symptoms. We’ve seen Britt’s hand shake before, but that shaking will be back in Thursday’s episode.

GH Spoilers – Mysterious Sickness

Britt has a mysterious illness, but more info will be revealed on that during February sweeps. Until then, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will have some relationship updates for Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Portia will hear about Jordan Ashford (Tiffany Williams) reaching out to Curtis recently. Jordan was hoping for a night of peace and offered a desperate plea to stop Curtis from shutting her out.

Unfortunately, Curtis couldn’t go along with that plan. It seems Curtis will talk to Portia about why he thinks it’s a bad idea, but she’ll open his eyes to another perspective. Even so, this will bring another opportunity for Portia and Curtis to bond. These two are growing closer and will continue to do so in the month ahead.

In the meantime, it looks like Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will prepare to reject a generous offer. If this ties in with Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) plot, she certainly has ways of keeping him in line if he won’t cooperate. The pen-clicking method is working out well, so we’ll see if Liesl’s forced to use it again.

General Hospital Spoilers  – Carly Corinthos Rushes To Lucy Coe

At the Metro Court, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will rush over to Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and insist she should stop Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) interview right now. Lucy will inevitably wonder why, but Carly may not have a good enough reason. Let’s face it: Even if Carly could explain, Lucy wouldn’t put Carly’s needs over Deception’s.

Nevertheless, the interview will wind down eventually and set the stage for a grilling session. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will ask how Sasha could do this, so Sasha will finally be alerted to what she’s wearing.

Sasha knows about the missing half-heart pendant since she posed as Nina’s daughter when she first appeared. Since Nina didn’t have the other half, Nina offered a replica – one that Nina promptly tore off Sasha’s neck after her exposure.

GH Spoilers – The Pendant Is Long Gone

Since that pendant’s long gone, Nina will feel like this has to be the real one. She’ll want an explanation for how Sasha ended up with it, but Sasha honestly won’t know. Lucy was the one who slipped that necklace on Sasha while she wasn’t paying attention.

Carly will be questioned by Nina next, but it’s Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) who’ll be able to shed light on things. Nina will soon know that necklace is Avery’s – at least it is now! Naturally, Nina’s next question will be where Avery got it and the answer could cause more chaos. That is if Carly doesn’t drag Avery off first.

Nina will get her hands on this pendant, so she’ll see if it lines up with the grooves on her own. Will the pieces interlock? That’s tough to say since Carly has no way of knowing which necklace is in play at this point.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be taken back to Lenny Caulfield’s (Rif Hutton) bar by a state trooper. Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) will realize she needs to make it clear what they expect of Sonny moving forward. If Sonny wants to stay at the bar with them, there’ll be some important conditions.

The main thing is Sonny needs to be evaluated by a doctor to find out if he has bipolar disorder. Sonny will make a deal with Lenny and Phyllis in exchange for his room and the job he wants. GH fans know Sonny is indeed bipolar, so it’s great news that he’ll get some help and the meds he needs.

General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will start tackling the mystery of who he is soon, so that’ll bring some intriguing developments. Stick with the ABC soap and don’t forget to check back often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates and news.
