General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, July 16, are in! Fans can expect to see Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) concoct a shady plan, while Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) deals with some heartbreak.

Sonny Corinthos Summons Brick

General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, July 16, hint that Sonny will summon Brick (Stephen S. Smith) for an unusual project.

Instead of asking him to do his normal mob work, he’ll hope his right-hand man will help him break up Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

What will Brick’s answer be? There aren’t many jobs that Brick says ‘no’ to, and he does care for Carly.

In other news, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) and Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) will chat about their future.

Is this because of the showcase that happened during the Wednesday, July 15 episode? One of the music producers, Simon (Grady Elridge), was interested in Gio, so only time will tell.

Liesl Obrecht’s Bombshell

Over at the hospital, Liesl will visit Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). She’s on a mission to clear Cassius Faison’s (Kathleen Gati) name, but she also will give the blonde a piece of her mind.

After all, Cassius was painted as the “bad guy” in the entire fallout to the cold fusion case, when he was a bit of a hero. Liels knows that Josslyn gave the agency her statement, so she made a demand to know what the disconnect is.

Still, Josslyn is in the GH preview for Thursday’s show, telling someone, “You don’t want that – trust me.” Will Liesl suggest heading to the WSB and demanding they tell the truth about Cassius?

Anna Devane’s Interrogation

Elsewhere, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will grill Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

She, too, wants more information on what exactly went down with Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and the cold fusion project, plus Cassius, and she may feel as if Britt has the answers.

During the General Hospital promo for the July 16 episode, Britt tells Anna that they have more in common than meets the eye.

Will this soften Anna’s interrogation of the good doctor?

 

Cody Bell’s Heartbreak

Across town, General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, July 11, reveal that Cody will deliver some heartbreaking news.

There’s a good chance he’s in charge of telling James West (Gary James Fuller) that the man he grew to love was not his father.

As fans know, Cassius pretended to be his brother, “Nathan West”, James’ father, so Cody will have a challenging time breaking the news to the sweet boy.

Welcome To The World, Baby Ashford!

In some fun spoilers, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will be at the hospital with Baby Ashford, and the newborn will get to meet his father, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).

Portia and Curtis will share a tender moment, but it sounds like Isaiah will purposely interrupt them.

The preview shows Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) advising Isaiah to give Portia and Curtis some space, but it sounds like the surgeon will throw out her words of wisdom and barge into Portia’s hospital room, anyway!
