General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, October 17 – Cam Visits Kim – Jason Works To Exonerate Sam – Ryan Obsesses Over Ava

General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, October 17, tease that Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) will be feeling suspicious of Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). He knows that something is really bothering Brad, and that will puzzle him since the Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) is now behind them. Lucas will confront Brad about what he’s hiding, but Brad’s so invested in keeping his secret that he’s not going to come clean at this point. Besides, he just found out that Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) isn’t getting out on parole, so he probably thinks he’s relatively free and clear.

Next on GH, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will share an embrace with him mom, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). They’ll be gearing up for Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) hearing, and Elizabeth will be worried about the whole thing. Cameron will reassure his mom that he knows just what to do, and she’ll probably think that he’s talking about his upcoming testimony at the hearing, but it looks like he’ll have something else in mind.

GH spoilers say that Cameron will track down Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) and make an appeal to her about his mom’s case. He’ll probably want Kim to know just how much it means to him and his family to have Franco return to them. Of course, this probably won’t make Kim rethink her position – it seems that the more people try to talk Kim out of what she’s doing with Franco, whom she considers to be Drew Cain (Billy Miller), the more entrenched she gets.

General Hospital Spoilers – Kevin Collins Prepares For Competency Trial

Later, Kim will visit with Franco at Shadybrook, and they’ll share some moments together. Kim’s shown in Thursday’s GH previews telling Franco that “Drew Cain never dies,” which seems like a pretty “out there” statement, especially considering that Drew has just been declared dead in absentia by the WSB. But Kim will go on believing that Franco is Drew and she’ll keep fighting for his freedom.

Meanwhile, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) will chat with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) about the whole Franco/Drew situation. It looks like he’ll have been asked of determining Franco’s psychological competency – he’ll dryly suggest that all he has to do is to determine if Franco’s in his right mind. Of course, it depends on whose mind we’re talking about here, since Franco has Drew’s memories and considers himself to be Drew.

Other General Hospital spoilers say that Laura will touch base with Ava Jerome (Maura West) as well. She’ll want to know how Ava is doing with everything she’s been going through. As GH viewers will remember, Laura was concerned when Ava was seeking help from psychics and trying to get over all the goings-on with Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). Laura will do her best to help, but it seems that Ryan will still be as obsessed with Ava as her, as he’s shown essentially worshiping Ava’s Crimson cover in his cell.

General Hospital Spoilers – Jason Morgan Questions Bryce Henderson

Later, Ava will chat with Julian Jerome (William deVry), and she’ll wonder where “that cocktail shaker” is. It looks like she’d rather drink than deal with the things that have been bothering her. Across town, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will wonder what someone’s plan is – he could be talking to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), who will apparently be planning a trip to Pentonville to talk with Bryce Henderson (Brian Gross).

Jason’s shown in Thursday’s GH previews talking to someone in high security at Pentonville, so it’s probably Bryce, who made up a story to implicate Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) in Shiloh’s death. Of course, GH viewers know that this was all orchestrated by Peter August (Wes Ramsey), and Jason will want to get to the bottom of this, so he’ll have some pointed questions for Bryce.
