General Hospital Spoilers Thursday, October 8: Mike’s Funeral Brings Tough Goodbyes – Dante Comes Home – Jason’s Sweet Speech

ABC General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, October 8, tease that Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) loved ones will gather to honor his memory and continue to grieve the loss. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will be there for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) along with the rest of his family – including Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth).
Many GH fans have been complaining about Kristina’s lack of inclusion in Mike’s exit arc, but at least she’ll show up to cap things off. This episode should serve as a bittersweet tribute to the man they all loved dearly. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will welcome everybody to the service and share what Mike taught him about the meaning of family.
Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) found a great friend in Mike and will also want to pay her respects. Candles will be lit for Mike as several PC residents reflect on the memories of Mike. That includes Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), who’ll be at the service and do some reminiscing on Thursday.
General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome And Carly Corinthos Share Kindness
Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will pop up at some point in this episode, which will lead to a sweet moment between Ava and Carly. General Hospital spoilers say Ava will surprise Carly with her kindness, so Carly should appreciate Ava’s effort to keep the peace on such a difficult day.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” (Ashton Arbab) will be funeral attendees, so they’ll have a chance to share their personal experiences with Mike. Brando knew Mike when he was younger, so he’ll be grateful that he was able to reconnect with him.
Dev didn’t know Mike for very long – or when he was truly lucid for that matter. However, Dev was able to see Mike’s good heart and enjoyed spending time with him in his final months. Dev will undoubtedly try to be there for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) as she says a tough farewell.
GH Spoilers – Mike Corbin’s Funeral
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will naturally make it to Mike’s funeral, too. General Hospital spoilers say Jason will make a speech about Mike’s bravery and suggest that’s something they can all strive for. Mike was a special man, and his loved ones are certainly going to miss him.
Once the service winds down, Sonny will hang back for a quiet goodbye to his father. After Sonny tells Mike that he loves him, he’s in for a shock. That should be when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) makes his long-awaited Port Charles comeback.

Loved seeing Kristina sitting next to her dad. The only thing that could have made her return a bit better would have been if she could have been able to say something about her relationship with her grandfather. I understand Joss singing was a plot point for Brook Lynn but Kristina sang at the Nurses ball maybe that could have been her contribution since Joss had a huge remembrance with Mike earlier. I would have loved to have seen a flash back to when Kristina was 16 and hanging out in the back of Kelly's with grandpa Mike…or even a more recent one.
