General Hospital Spoilers reveal its rather clear that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is not only working with the Pikeman Group, but he’s working against Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Unless Valentin has a death wish, it makes the most sense that he’s fallen into this dire situation after having been hoisted over a barrel by someone with too much leverage hanging over his head.

Valentin doesn’t seem to be acting in his own best interest. Why hasn’t he ever mentioned his involvement with Pikeman to Anna after all of this time? She thought they shared everything, and she was convinced his feelings for her were truly sincere.
How did they fall so far from where they were just months ago in Sonny’s safehouse where he was serenading her and promising a lifetime of love together?
It seems the most likely explanation is that Valentin set these wheels in motion with Sonny hoping it wouldn’t go anywhere, and when it did, he wasn’t able to pull the plug.

Could her operation moving through Sonny’s territory be a way to take him down, or is she actually interested in something far more strategic?

To Tracy, Sonny might just be collateral damage. She’s not going to feel bad about blowing up a criminal enterprise, and besides, she hates Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and was never all that fond of her daughter-in-law, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), either.
It’s all gravy to her. Tracy may have gone after Valentin initially because he is the lead source of funds for Deception — which we know she’s angling hard for.
But perhaps she found more than she bargained for when she went digging into Valentin’s life looking for a way to get everything she wanted.
