General Hospital spoilers report Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is falling hard for Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison), and it would appear that he’s none the wiser. Their innocent flirtation has bordered on more than friendship, but Tracy has held back on signaling she’s interested in anything more.
Furthermore, Gregory isn’t exactly putting himself out in the dating pool right now. The man is dying, and it’s likely he doesn’t think of himself as such a great catch, given the circumstances.
Would it be fair for him to let a woman into his life at this juncture, knowing he’s going to leave her soon? Tracy might insist on being the judge of that. Regardless, it is true. Gregory is dying, and his death won’t be one with grace and peace. Is Tracy prepared to say goodbye to another man she loves?
General Hospital Spoilers — Luke Spencer Still Lingers
The memory of Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) lingers in Tracy’s thoughts in and out of every day. She didn’t get to say goodbye, and in some ways, that might make the thought of Gregory’s predictable death somewhat easier.
Still, putting oneself out there for a relationship that she knows can’t go that far is a leap of good faith that even Luke might not advise her to take. He was a gambler, after all. Is the return on investment worth the risk involved?
GH Spoilers – Leak Gregory Harrison Pushes Tracy Quartermaine Away
In Tracy’s mind, she’s the only person at play here. She has to make a decision about how comfortable she is revealing her feelings to Gregory.
It has occurred to her that he might not feel the same way, but what hasn’t crossed her mind is that he may not be open to dating anyone because of his terminal diagnosis of ALS.
When she does finally signal that she’s interested in more than just witty banter and being family via Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), she may be stunned to find Gregory is anything but.
General Hospital Spoilers — It’s Better to Have Loved and Lost
Tracy is a hardened woman. She’s been beaten down more times than she can count, and she always gets back up — albeit more bitter each go round. So when Gregory denies her affection for him, we can expect she’ll take it embarrassingly personally.
It may not occur to her at all that it truly is more about him than it is about her. Will she push for him to open his heart to one last love story, even if it means grieving that loss the same way she’s been grieving Luke for years?
Or will she let this opportunity pass her by and turn her heart to stone? Keep checking back with us for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
