General Hospital Spoilers: Tracy Keeping Everyone On Their Toes – New Storyline In The Works?

General Hospital spoilers indicate that the Quartermaines were in for quite the holiday surprise when Tracey (Jane Elliot) unexpectedly came home after spending the last several years in Amsterdam. In fact, everyone will be quite stunned to see Tracey, as she hasn’t made her way back to Port Charles since 2017.

General Hospital Spoilers: How Long Will Tracy Stick Around?

Even though actress Jane Elliot retired from her daytime television career two years ago, she couldn’t say no when the producers of General Hospital called her to ask if she could reprise her role. After all, Tracey is someone who always has the best lines, especially when it comes to her sharp tongue. That’s why General Hospital co-head writer Dan O’Connor says that he didn’t even flinch when he found out that Jane Elliot was not only available, but willing and ready to come back to the soap.

Now, as far as what’s in store for Tracy, it looks like there will be chaos at every corner. But that’s not something that surprises, fans, right? General Hospital co-head writer Chris Van Etten puts it this way, “When Tracy returns, her reason for returning – or the reason she gives, at least, is she wanted to see her family over the holidays. What better time for a woman whose heart may be as black as coal to come home?”

General Hospital Spoilers: Tracy Is Ready To Clean House

Of course, Tracey’s return coincides with the sudden reappearance of her granddaughter, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). And according to Van Etten, that is no coincidence at all. He also says that the legendary Quartermaine family will be taking center stage in the new year. He explains, “I think I can speak for Dan and me and both in that as we continue on in this role, we hope to continue to expand the Quartermaine presence on the show. Having Jane mix it up with the Quartermaines as we continue to grow that family is a dream come true.”

With that said, fans will have to tune in for all of the action. General Hospital airs weekdays on the ABC network. Check your local listings for times. So far producers have not made any further comments about Tracey’s role or how long she will stay on the soap for that matter.
