General Hospital Spoilers: Tragedy Strikes Again, Deal With The Devil, Suspicions And Apologies

General Hospital spoilers and updates for December 26-30 tease it’s a countdown to tragedy as the countdown to the New Year’s ball drop begins! This week, the countdown begins with discussion about The Hook in Rice Plaza and ends with another attack, which appears to be the Friday cliffhanger.

General Hospital Spoilers: The Countdown Begins

Marshall and Curtis Ashford (Robert Gossett, Donnell Turner) are in Rice Plaza talking about the latest in the Port Charles Hook case. Curtis tells Marshall there have already been too many victims, that the killer has claimed too many lives. Marshall asks when it’s going to end, as Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) walks up with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).

GH Spoilers: Suspicions And Apologies

Marshall and Curtis remain as Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) arrive with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) between them. Spencer states his opinion, that it ends when they find Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) which seems to be the consensus.

Trina and Spencer will be determined to find Esmé and solve the hook case, but Trina asks what if they’re wrong, what if it’s someone they never even suspected? Later in the week, Spencer will apologize to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and she’ll reveal what she’s after.

General Hospital Spoilers: Deals And Negotiations

Heather Webber (Alley Mills) will make a deal with Robert and Mac Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), offering to find out some information about Esmé. She “suspects” that Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) knows more than he’s letting on because she heard he had quite the relationship with Esmé. She thinks she can charm it out of him because he and she now have quite a relationship.

But Heather does nothing without payback – and all she wants is to stay in Spring Ridge instead of being transported back to D’Archam. That way she and Ryan can stay together and it’s a lot easier to sneak in and out but of course she keeps that to herself.

GH Spoilers: Encouragement And Rejection

Dante Falconeri, (Dominic Zamprogna) knowing nothing about Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) dire diagnosis, encourages Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). Cody may just give it another try with Britt even though it’s doubtful it’s going to work. Britt’s shown at General Hospital with a shocked look on her face – or is that fear? She seems to be talking to someone else and perhaps he interrupts. He likely strikes out, considering he’s nowhere to be seen in the shot of her birthday bash later in the promo.

General Hospital Spoilers: Deepening Mysteries

Overseas, the mystery deepens for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) who are still looking for Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). It looks like someone is getting ready to sneak up on Anna from behind a closed door. Anna’s smiling and looks coyly at the person entering-but something in her demeanor is off; could Alex Devane (Finola Hughes) be alive?

Let’s hope that was Anna and the visitor is Valentin; they won’t stop until they find Lucy and exonerate Anna of her murder. But they will have to explain things to Lucy, because the woman who did shoot her was Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) impersonating her.

GH Spoilers: New Year’s Eve Surprises And Shocks

Britt’s New Year’s Eve birthday bash is rocking, and Scott Baldwin, (Kin Shriner) Brad Cooper, (Parry Shen) Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) can be seen. But even though there may be some surprises, it looks like there will be one final shock as well; someone or something blows out the candles.

The Hook strikes again, seemingly in a Friday cliffhanger. The question will be who will be the next victim?
