It’s important to him that Ace grows up with Cassadine influence in his life, even if Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) never comes back to town. That’s beautiful and Trina really respects her boyfriend for how he stepped up to the plate. But she can’t stand seeing how fluidly he and Esme are functioning as a family. An isolated event, Trina was recently spending time with Spencer when she felt pushed out of Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) pad as it became clear Ace needed to get to bed and Esme needed Spencer‘s help to make that happen. Trina was happy to oblige and skirt her way to the door, but as this happens on more frequent occasions, she’s going to start feeling like there’s no place for her and Spencer‘s life.

Little does Trina know, this is exactly the plan that Esme has in mind. No, Esme wasn’t plotting to take Spencer away from her.
