General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, April 2 – Special 56th Anniversary Show – Gail’s Heartfelt Messages – A Look Back At GH

General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, April 2, tease that viewers are in for a treat, as General Hospital celebrates its 56th anniversary. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will gather various people together to hear the late Gail Baldwin’s (Susan Brown) bequest to GH. Alexis promised that it was a long list of people who Gail wanted there for this event, during which Alexis will reveal Gail’s final wishes.

During the episode, we’ll see Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) welcome Lesley Webber (Denise Alexander) back to GH. Of course, Lesley is Laura Webber’s (Genie Francis) mother, so we’ll likely see a mother-daughter reunion as well. Laura’s been going through a lot lately with Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), so she could use some support.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) will have a chat. Elizabeth has just gone through some difficult times with Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). Epiphany isn’t Franco’s biggest fan, but she knows how much he means to Elizabeth, so Epiphany may offer her support. She’ll tell Elizabeth that they are a team, and that will mean the world to Elizabeth.

As Alexis gathers everyone together for Gail’s big reveal at GH, it looks like she’ll summon Julian Jerome (William deVry) as well. Julian will wonder why he’s being requested to be there, but Alexis won’t have any answers. It’s just her job to get everyone there.

One the meeting kicks off, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will hear some touching parting words that Gail had for him. And she’ll likely have some wisdom to impart on everyone in attendance, as well as a friendly mandate or two. It will become abundantly clear to everyone just how much Gail loved General Hospital and all of its people.

Other GH spoilers indicate that Laura will watch from afar as Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Kevin share a close moment together. It looks like Kevin will be feeling apprehensive about being in attendance for the festivities after what he’s done, but Lucy will all Kevin that GH is right where he’s meant to be.

Another heartfelt moment will be had by Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner). Bobbie will want to reflect on the “old days” at GH with some photographs of the hospital personnel who are no longer with us. That will lead Bobbie and Felicia to reminisce and share big hug.

Finally, look for Mac Scorpio (John J. York), Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and Maxie West (Kirsten Storms) to be on canvas during the special episode. Sonny will remark, “Thank God for General Hospital,” which nicely sums up how we all feel about this remarkable daytime drama. Happy 56th anniversary, GH!

When teenagers Laura & Scotty were together but Bobbie was trying to steal him away with every dirty little trick in the book, those were the best days in soaps! #GH
