General Hospital Spoilers Tuesday, February 9: Sonny’s Pre-Funeral Drama – Nina Gets Phyllis’ Identification Help – Willow’s Choice

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, February 9, tease that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will go against her daughters’ wishes again. It looks like there’ll be a disagreement about Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) funeral this time around.

Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), Kristina Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) will all show up at Alexis’ place and perhaps argue that she should attend the memorial service with them. However, it seems Alexis will think this show of support would be better received without her.

General Hospital spoilers say Sam, Molly and Kristina will get a chance to talk about Alexis later. Whether they get Alexis on board with attending the funeral or not, the Davis girls will remain concerned about Alexis and her issues. Kristina, Sam and Molly will hope for some major updates to Alexis’ life soon.

General Hospital Spoilers – Funeral Plans

As for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), they’ll don some attire that’s appropriate for the funeral and get ready for a tough farewell. Olivia will tell Dante that it didn’t have to be this way. Maybe Olivia will imagine a different outcome where Sonny lived – or perhaps Olivia will be discussing her crumbling marriage instead.

If Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) had trusted Olivia or been willing to confront her instead of sleeping with Alexis, all the confusion could’ve been cleared up before a real betrayal was made. That’s something that’ll continue to weigh on Alexis, but Dante will give his mom plenty of support.

Over with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), she’ll have a picture for Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) to look at. Nina will wonder if Phyllis would recognize “him,” so it seems Nina will hand over an old photo of Frank Benson (portrayed by James Patrick Stuart in flashbacks). Phyllis may think back and recall that Frank was indeed the man who showed up to get a baby with his wife.

GH Spoilers – Port Charles Trip

Naturally, we have to wonder what else Phyllis might reveal during her trip to Port Charles. Nina might ask about the man on the phone who introduced himself as “Mike.” Since GH fans know “Mike” is actually Sonny, there’s another huge secret just waiting for Nina to figure out.

General Hospital spoilers say Nina will settle on a choice, but doubts will creep in later. It’s possible Nina will suspect Sonny is alive and determine that she has to tell Carly – only to change her mind about that later. Nina might decide to sit on her new information for now, but we’ll see how it all plays out.

Other GH spoilers say Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will bring up his recent proposal to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), which involved Willow moving in the Quartermaine gatehouse. Willow will have to reveal if she’s made a decision on that, so Michael will be all ears.

As for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), she’ll talk to Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) about his problems with Nina. Joss will understand why Jax kept the news about Nina’s daughter being Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) a secret from the woman he loves. She’ll hope Jax can make Nina see things his way, but Jax may not have high hopes.

However, Jax will certainly have high hopes for Josslyn’s future. Joss will be feeling a tad discouraged due to all the loss that’s been swirling around her family, but Jax will think the odds are in Josslyn’s favor when it comes to living a fulfilling life.

Just before Sonny’s funeral starts, Carly will struggle to take this difficult step. It all feels too soon and too final, so Carly won’t be sure she can go through with the service. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will be on hand to comfort Carly and perhaps offer a reminder of her great inner strength. They’re doing this to send a message and keep everybody in Sonny’s family safe, so this is what he’d want.

Of course, what Sonny would really want is to come back to his family – at least if he knew who he was and where he belongs. Sadly, Sonny has amnesia and know way of knowing where to go at this point in the story.

At Lenny Caulfield’s (Rif Hutton) bar, Sonny will apparently have another run-in with the cops and need some help to wiggle out of a jam. “Mike” will warn the authorities to take him in or get off his case, but Lenny will step in and fix this for him.
