General Hospital Spoilers Tuesday, January 12: Ava’s Avery Custody Move – Injured Sonny’s Next Step – Maxie’s Scandalous Pitch

General Hospital: Maxi Jones - (Kristen Storms)General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, January 12, tease that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will feel the need to intervene. Perhaps Curtis will drag TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) away from Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and prevent more punches from being thrown.

TJ will explode over Jordan Ashford’s (Briana Nicole Henry) lies soon after, but Curtis will suggest that Jordan made tough choices to protect her son. However, that won’t be good enough for TJ. He won’t think he can live with those choices – especially not when Jordan’s had plenty of opportunities to come clean.

Back with Brando, he’ll get some sympathy from Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos). General Hospital spoilers say Molly will take the blame for convincing Brando to keep quiet. She’ll feel responsible for the blow he took to the face, but Brando will understand TJ’s anger under the circumstances.

Since Molly patched things up with TJ, she might hope that TJ and Brando can fix their friendship, too. Of course, Brando may think it’ll be a long time before that happens – if it ever does. While Molly continues to battle guilt, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will do the same. She may think back on all the times she ripped into Curtis when her father wasn’t really even dead.

General Hospital Spoilers – Marcus Taggart Is Alive

Marcus Taggert (Asante Jones) is alive and well, so Trina’s been pretty overwhelmed over the bombshell. She’ll realize she owes someone an apology on Tuesday – and there’s a good chance that someone will be Curtis. Once Trina has a chance to seek Curtis out, he may hear how sorry she is for all her outbursts.

It seems Trina will also check in with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), who could certainly use a pal right now. Josslyn’s family has been thrown into turmoil due to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) presumed demise. Once Joss gets the latest scoop, she may fret to Trina about the toll Sonny’s death will take on Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).

Thankfully, Sonny survived his ordeal and has been found in a wooded area. A concerned stranger seems willing to help Sonny, who has quite a gash on his head. It’s clear that Sonny’s battling some memory issues, so he’ll have a hard time figuring out where to go from here.

GH Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Will Be Stunned

Sonny may end up in the hospital or potentially back at this stranger’s home for a while. Either way, Sonny will be given a bandanna to place around his injured head. He’ll be confused and in pain as he struggles to recall what’s happened and where home is.

Back with Carly, she’ll be stunned when Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) shows up to deliver a shocker. Ava will think there’s an issue they need to tackle head-on, so she may want to take Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) out of the Corinthos home immediately.

Now that Sonny’s out of the picture, Ava will certainly want to go after full custody of Avery. You can bet Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will side with Ava on this and rile Carly up in the process.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome Cassadine Won’t Back Down

Nikolas may insist that the safest place for Avery right now is at Wyndemere, but Carly will act like Nik’s getting all high and mighty. She may argue that the Cassadines are just as dangerous, but Nikolas and Ava won’t back down. It looks like Carly won’t be able to fight Ava and Nik on this for long.

Over with Josslyn again, she’ll have an important talk with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). Jax will confess that he’s not sure how far he might go to protect his daughter. There could be serious trouble if Josslyn stays in Port Charles instead of fleeing the country, but Joss won’t think she can abandon her family at a time like this – especially not her mom.

Carly needs Josslyn’s support right now, so Joss and Jax will work out an agreement. Perhaps some compromises will be made on both sides to ensure Josslyn’s protection in PC. Finally, GH spoilers say Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will suggest Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) as Crimson’s new cover girl. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will hear an extremely enthusiastic pitch on the idea this Tuesday.

Although Nina will have concerns due to Sasha’s scandalous history, Maxie may think those struggles will only make readers more curious. She’ll try to convince Nina that Sasha’s the perfect fit for the lead story in their new issue.
