General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, January 7 – Laura Reels Over Nik & Ava’s Wedding Plan – Valentin Assaults Peter – Anna Wants The Truth

General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, January 7, tease that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will try to process what she’s just heard from Ava Jerome (Maura West) – that she and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) are getting married asap. As GH viewers know, this came after Nikolas burst into Wyndemere during the wedding of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

Ava is shown in Tuesday’s GH previews imploring a distraught Laura to stay for the wedding. Certainly, Laura’s going to have some questions about how this wedding plan came about and what the overarching plan is here. Ava and Nikolas likely came to a deal – perhaps a wedding and part of the Cassadine fortune in exchange for the codicil.

Of course, GH fans can’t forget that not too long ago, Nikolas was still married to Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig), so that little loose end will need to be explained somehow. Will we see an Ava/Nikolas wedding on Tuesday’s episode? GH viewers will have to tune in to see!

General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Physically Assaults Peter August

Meanwhile, upstairs at Wyndemere, it looks like there will be a tense stand-off over Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). As GH viewers know, Valentin just burst into Charlotte’s bedroom to take her, presumably to leave the premises with her. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) intervened, saying that Valentin wasn’t going anywhere, but Valentin looks pretty determined to take Charlotte and leave.

It appears that Maxie will end up leaving the room, perhaps to get help, while Valentin physically assaults Peter August (Wes Ramsey), as Valentin is shown in Tuesday’s previews kneeing Peter in the stomach and disabling him. Later, Maxie is shown coming in and presumably finding Peter in a heap on the floor, but the real question here is whether Valentin will succeed in running off with Charlotte.

Other General Hospital spoilers indicate that Nina will want to leave as well. She’ll have had enough of Wyndemere and of Valentin, and she’s shown in Tuesday’s GH previews telling Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), and Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) that she just wants to get out of the castle…now.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos & Carly Corinthos Face Their Problems Head-On

Meanwhile, across town, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will talk about the difficulties they’ve been having. As GH viewers know, Sonny is upset with Carly because she kept the secret about Nikolas’ existence a secret from him for so long. Of course, what really irks Sonny is the fact that Carly kept the secret with Jax of all people. On Tuesday’s episode, Sonny will wonder what comes next for the two of them.

General Hospital Spoilers – Anna Devane Shares Her Concerns With Mac Scorpio

Finally, on Tuesday’s new episode of General Hospital, it looks like Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) might take her concerns about Peter to Mac Scorpio (John J. York). Anna is shown in Tuesday’s GH previews standing with Mac, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), saying that she won’t be satisfied until she gets all the answers.

Of course, for Anna to go to the Chief of Detectives with her concerns is huge, since Anna was previously on the fence about whether she should turn over what she knew about Peter and his connection to the gunman who tried to kill Andre Maddox (Anthony Washington) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). If she has turned over the information, there will be no going back now, and she may not like what Mac finds.

It looks like we’re in for a great episode on Tuesday! Stay tuned to the ABC soap and don’t forget to check Celebrating The Soaps often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates, and news.
