General Hospital spoilers and updates tease in this week’s  preview for the week of Monday, May 8, there’s unexpected fallout as all are in crisis mode and the search is on!

As Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) loved ones await Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) return with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) is missing and the search is on!

General Hospital Spoilers: Unexpected Fallout

The WSB drone strike may have been diverted from the island to The Haunted Star when Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) tried to escape, but there’s unexpected fallout.

As Trina Robinson, (Tabyana Ali), holding Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) watched in horror, explosions took place. Trina had told them Spencer was on the ship, having gone back to stop Victor, who’d escaped with the canister full of a deadly pathogen.

Spencer, who’d knocked out Victor and apparently disposed of the canister, looked up in horror as well, seeing the drones and hearing the noise. But he didn’t resurface on the island, and now he’s missing; Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) carries Ace as Laura tries to comfort Trina, a WSB agent leading them.

GH Spoilers: Crisis Mode

Both in Greenland and Port Charles everyone is in crisis mode, with Spencer missing in Greenland and Drew on his way back with Liesl already. At the hospital, Sonny Corinthos, (Maurice Benard) Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) worry and wait for Drew to arrive with Liesl for Willow’s bone marrow transplant. Sonny may not know yet that his nephew is missing in Greenland but he knows Willow could die if Liesl doesn’t get there soon and tries to remain stoic.

Soon, the bad news hits as Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) steal some time alone together, and Josslyn’s upset as she tells him Spencer is missing.

General Hospital Spoilers: The Search Is On!

Back in Greenland, the search is on for any possible survivors or victims after the drone strike on the Haunted Star. Continuing on their way to being taken home by the WSB, Trina cries out they can’t find Spencer, but he’s still out there-she can feel it! Valentin and Trina, holding Ace wait in what appears to be the inside of a ship, Drew likely having taken the seaplane to transport Liesl.

Laura and Curtis are bound to be somewhere nearby, Curtis possibly helping in the search for Spencer. Valentin looks shaken as the WSB agent returns with what could be very bad news – he tells them they’ve recovered a body from the wreckage.
