General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will soon be facing a major life change. As viewers know, when the new GH episodes left off, Nina had just decided that she was ready to go on a major search for her long-lost missing daughter, and she wants to do it alone, without the help of Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). Well, little does Nina know that her daughter is right there in front of her, in the form of Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier).

General Hospital Spoilers – The Truth Will Come Out

But sooner or later, the truth is going to come out about Nelle and the fact that she’s got the other half of Nina’s heart pendant. Nelle has been sitting in court during Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos’ (Theo and Erik Olson) custody hearing clutching her half of the pendant. Clearly, the pendant holds some real significance for her, and it’s only a matter of time before Nina spots her with it. In fact, we suspect that Nina might actually see Nelle with the pendant as she’s about to testify for Nelle in the custody case.

One thing seems pretty certain, and that’s that Nina’s life and priorities will drastically change once she discovers that Nelle is her daughter. Fierce protective mama bear Nina will probably come out, and even though she’ll know that Nelle has had her issues, the fact will remain that Nelle’s her daughter, and nothing is going to get between them going forward. And this probably means that Nina and Jax will be history.

After all, Jax is no fan of Nelle’s, and he takes every opportunity to come down on Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) side whenever the topic of Nelle and her custody suit comes up. It’s really hard to imagine Jax being supportive of Nina’s relationship with Nelle going forward, so we could see Nina and Jax’s relationship implode in relatively short order.

And we all know what’s going to happen when Nina and Jax’s relationship falls apart…Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is going to be right there to pick up the pieces. Of course, Valentin isn’t Nelle’s biggest fan either – he totally rejected Nelle when she tried to come on to him a while back – but he’ll surely realize that the way back to Nina’s heart is to be supportive of Nelle and her relationship with Nina.

And Nina may very well need Valentin’s help to verify that Nelle is her daughter. If Valentin plays his cards right and he’s patient and not too pushy with Nina yet he fully accepts Nelle in Nina’s life, then he probably stands a good chance of being with Nina again. Nina may even support Valentin as he tries to launch his hostile takeover of ELQ since she’ll be on a real anti-Carly and anti-Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) tear at that point.

We’ll see what happens here, but we suspect that Valentin could end up with two formidable allies in his bid to take over ELQ – Nina and Nelle.
