General Hospital Spoilers: Valentin And Anna Grow Closer After Near Death Experience – Next GH Super Couple?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that in Port Charles, New York Alex Devane’s (Finola Hughes) plans to eliminate Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and her twin sister Anna Devane (also Finola Hughes) likely won’t be successful in killing the intended targets, although other Port Charles residents might succumb to the crockpot caused explosion Alex has planned. But could their time in captivity together bring the two of them closer, possibly even in a romantic way?

General Hospital Spoiler Insights

It wasn’t very long ago that Valentin admitted to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Brianna Lane) that he was still in love with the first love of his life, that being Anna. He has since fallen hard for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) but by his own admission, Valentin still harbors feelings for Anna as well.

They also both share a special relationship because of their love for Peter August (Wes Ramsey). And both of them want to protect Peter at all costs. The recent revelation that Alex, and not Anna, is actually Peter’s mother has made the duo even more determined to keep Peter out of harm’s way. Alex arrived in Port Charles wanting to take over Anna’s life once again and take her place as Peter’s mother.

GH Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Got In The Way

Valentin quickly determined that Alex had switched places with Anna. Alex quickly drugged Valentin and now Anna and Valentin have found themselves tied up together as a crockpot and a broken gas line threatens to blow them to smithereens. But Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) are both former WSB agents so it seems unlikely they will die so easily. But they will have to work together to get out of their current predicament. And this could easily lead them to realize their romantic history may not be as much in the past as they had believed.

Currently, Anna is engaged to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and the wedding date looms closer and closer. But after Alex is dispatched, will Anna and Valentin still be drawn to each other? Could Anna dump Finn to pursue a relationship with Valentin? And how will Nina react if that happens? She’s moved on with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) but it’s obvious every time she sees Valentin that she isn’t as over him as she would like him to believe.
