Once Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) hears from Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) that he’s not Bailey’s father he demands Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) allow him to do a paternity test. When she says no, he gets a hold of the baby’s DNA anyway and gets the test run himself — and imagine if it shows that he is related to Bailey after all.

That will shock Brook Lynn since she knows she didn’t give birth to this baby and then she will start to wonder how this could be. Brook Lynn’s reaction will tip off Valentin to the fact that she is hiding more and he will realize that Bailey is really Maxie Jones’s (Kirsten Storms) baby with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) — and maybe he was Peter’s father and not Faison (Anders Hove), considering he slept with Alex Devane (Finola Hughes) thinking it was Anna Devane (also Finola Hughes) at around the time he thought she was sleeping with Faison.

Knowing she is his granddaughter and not his daughter will make Valentin more determined to protect Bailey than ever — from his own son. But then comes the guilt.

GH Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Created The Peter Monster

Valentin already knows that Peter became who he is because he allowed him to be raised by the maniacal and abusive Faison — in fact, he is the one who made it happen. To realize he gave his own son to such a monster could bring out Valentin’s dark Cassadine side quickly and Anna won’t know what to do to bring him back from the edge. After all, she has fallen in love with the man he truly is inside and not that Cassadine side.

Will it be the battle to the finish between Peter and Valentin with Valentin admitting he is his father? And if this happens, does that mean we never, ever get rid of Peter August, the most hated character on General Hospital and soaps in years? Will the mission never be completed?
