General Hospital spoilers tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will have a rather tense encounter with Ava Jerome (Maura West) this week on General Hospital!
General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Teases Valentin About Hearing From The Hereafter
In the General Hospital Monday, July 22nd’s episode, a scowling Valentin is shown looking down at a semi-flirtatious Ava, who teases him about hearing from the hereafter! She will ask him if he’s looking for a message from the other side!
General Hospital viewers will recall that Valentin and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) came by the table where Ava was meeting with her psychic, Sibley Gamble (Veronica Cartwright) in the Metro Court restaurant when Nina recognized Sibley as the psychic that her mother, Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) and gave Ava a friendly warning that her mother had used Sibley and she could assure Ava that Sibley is a fraud!
General Hospital Spoilers – Sibley Proves Herself With A Message For Valentin
Sibley remembered Nina and greeted her, saying it had been many years since she had seen her; and then she received a message for Valentin from Madeline, from beyond the grave! She told Valentin that Madeline said to “use tweezers next time!”
Valentin’s mind and memories immediately flashed back to when he collected genetic material from Madeline’s dead body, which is how he faked Nina and Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) DNA test by using Madeline’s and Nina’s DNA samples to show a mother and daughter relationship. Nina brushed it off as the ramblings of a fraud and told Valentin she had told him so, and that remark right there which made absolutely no sense to her and was related to absolutely nothing as far as Nina was concerned, proved that Sibley was just a fraud out to scam Ava out of a lot of money!
General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin Would Be Suspicious And Worried About Sibley’s Message
Valentin would have reason to be suspicious and worried about a “psychic message” like that – for one thing, how would Sibley get such information if she didn’t talk to someone who witnessed him getting the DNA and how he got it?
As General Hospital viewers will recall, there was such a person in the back of the funeral chapel where Madeline laid in her coffin who witnessed what Valentin had done – her sister Liesel Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), who at that time was a fugitive herself and dressed as a street person hiding in a dark corner at the back of the chapel. Valentin would obviously be wondering if Madeline and Sibley used each other, then did Liesel and Sibley know one another as well, and more importantly, did Liesel give her the information?

General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin Doesn’t Trust Ava And He Sure Doesn’t Trust Liesel
Ava may have meant to playfully tease Valentin about the “message from beyond the grave” that Sibley gave him, but he doesn’t believe in psychic phenomena or psychics, and he doesn’t trust Sibley or Ava and he sure doesn’t trust Liesel! For all he knew, having known that Liesel’s loose lips got her pushed off a ship, she could have gotten together with her sister’s old friend Sibley before she and Ava even had their meeting and told her everything, endangering Valentin’s secret with Sasha staying a secret!
