General Hospital spoilers tease that as the head of Pikeman, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) still needs to get rid of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard). But after three failed assassination attempts, Valentin has decided to try another tactic.
Valentin has managed to get Sonny’s pharmacist to alter his bipolar medication. Only one out of every four of Sonny’s pills are correct, the other three are a placebo. It’s quite clear that Sonny is already starting to spin out of control.
General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Hopes Sonny Corinthos Destroys Himself!
Valentin hopes that Sonny will act so recklessly that he openly incriminates himself and goes to prison for the rest of his life. It’s clear that Valentin isn’t the better man he has been claiming to be over the last few years.
He’s well aware that those close to Sonny could be hurt if Sonny’s behavior becomes too erratic. It’s likely why he’s tried to steer Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) out of Sonny’s orbit. But he will likely take a much more direct approach when it comes to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
GH Spoilers – Agent Cates Wants Jason Morgan As Bait!
Jason was recently revealed to be an informant with the FBI. That means Pikeman, and by extension Valentin, is aware that Jason had been infiltrating Pikeman for the last couple years.
Valentin won’t be able to let Jason live because he most likely knows too much. To that end, Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) wants Jason to act as bait so that they can finally take Pikeman down.
But even though he’s got an assignment, Jason doesn’t have a death wish and Valentin is well aware of that fact.

Valentin knows that the best way to kill Jason is to lure him to a remote location, but Jason is too smart not to realize he’s walking into a trap. So he won’t give Jason a choice.
By kidnapping Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzym) and Jake Webber (Hudson West), Valentin can ensure Jason will show up.
Valentin won’t want to hurt to boys, but he won’t hesitate if he has to. It should all come down to the ultimate showdown between Jason and Valentin!

It’s sad that Valentin is the villain Helena said he was . I so loved Vanna but it sadly appears Val is on his way out. GH is losing a fine actor!
This Pikeman story needs to end. It’s cinfusing and boring. Valentin was a great character but now he’s obviously being written out. Shame on gh for this. Stories have been a mess lately
I want to think that Jasons’ secret girlfriend is like Jason , can’t say hitman for a girl so I will say an assissan. Wouldn’t that be an exciting storyline ? Perhaps she helps Jason save his two sons and then her and Jason properly dispose of Valentin.Then in another exciting storyline Jason and his new girlfriend take John Cates out and Carly figures out that the pharamist is giving Sonny placibos in the tune of three placibos to 1 real pill with the help of …none other than the braniac himself……..Damian Spinelli !
I hate Valentine is the bad guy again. I hope Jason takes him out! Then Nina can raise his daughter. Her wish of a family will come true so she can shut up!
I hate that the writers are changing Valentin to evil again! I was actually hoping he and Nina would get back together and finally give Charlotte a happy home. What will happen to that poor girl who has been through so much!! She has almost no chance to become a normal, well-adjusted adult!
LJR, I totally agree with you! I had so hoped that Val and Nina would find a way back together. And I’ve grown to love Valentin, so I hate that the new writers are taking the cheap way out and writing him as a villain again. He could have easily been written as the good guy inflating Pikeman and helping take him/her/them down. I guess all their writing brain cells had to go into the boring, convoluted snooz fest known as “Jason’s return from the dead. Part 32.”
I totally Agree with the both of you, why are they making Valentin the Bad Guy!! I was in Shock when they disclosed that Valentin was the leader of the Pikemen Group along with Brennan!! As they said what will happen to Poor Charlotte, there has to be more of this storyline that they haven’t disclose YET!! As I said before I was in total Shock over Valentin’s lead in Pikemen!! When everyone finds out many will be just as Shocked as I was example ANNA, Nina, Charlotte, Laura, many more!! So Upset that the Writers went this way, unless I didn’t realize he might be leaving GH question Is He Leaving GH???

I don’t think valentin is going to get a chance to take down sonny no thank you because he is to smart and also he’s a mobster he knows how the game works and he won’t hesitate to eliminate him, now on the other hand I think Carly will find out his medication has been tampered with and she will be furious and she will probably let the family know and dante will probably investigate and find out, and the quartermaines will probably hide the boys from valentin and keep them safe.
Ava already had played that card with Morgan.
She won’t be forgiven a second time… Avery or no Avery.
I don’t understand why they change the characters, Valentine was redeemed and proved to be quite loveable especially loved him with Anna. The same with Ava, is she going back to the bad side again. Losing interest. Sonny should be playing with his grandkids he’s getting burnt out. Come on GH let’s get back to the good stories and stop changing the characters personalities.
Valentin was brought on as a very bad guy. Making loveable was the big character change. JPS will slay any storyline he is given.
If Valentin wants Jason’s attention, he should kidnap Michael. Jason doesn’t care about Jake, maybe Danny, but Jake he never loved. He is a DBD.
This story line is far fetched and doesn’t make sense. Why would Valentine kidnap Sam’s son, its his family! I think Valentine is up to something else, I don’t think he’s the bad guy they are making him out to be right now. He claimed to love Anna which is a relationship I am still routing for; says his first priority is his daughter which clearly it hasn’t been (or has it), is the man in charge at ELQ, but is he? How can he be? He’s way too busy, not to mention his purchase of the Invader. I really think he’s working for the good guys, trying to ensure the bad guys are taken down… only piece that confuses me is the messing around with Sonny’s pills, why if he’s on the right team?? hmm…
