Several New Characters Are Coming, With All Having Connections To Port Charles Characters
Several new characters are coming, with all having connections to Port Charles-plus, Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) recently teased a recast of a past character, which most assume will be a Jacks.
Whoever outbids Valentin, it’s a shocker-and it’s a “mysterious person”, but has connections to Port Charles and at least one other current character.
Spoon Island has a long history of past owners, the first Port Charles resident having been Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), who we can safely rule out as the “mysterious person”.
Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) owned it from 1990-1996, and after him, Valentin’s older half-brother Stefan Cassadine (Stephen Nichols) and then Nikolas Cassadine (most recently Adam Huss) several times.

The mystery may come in through perhaps online bidding, otherwise Valentin would know who he’s up against-unless there’s another mystery Cassadine in the works, Nikolas makes the most sense!
Could Nikolas Be The Recast Steve Burton Referred To?
Could Nikolas be the recast Steve Burton referred to, again vying for the property against Valentin? It’s possible, but just as possible is the mysterious birth father of Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton) who if it’s not Hudson Parker, (Troy Lennon Appel) it may be his father.
That means Jerry Jacks (most recently Sebastian Roché) could be the new owner, which would not be surprising-especially if he’s commandeered Jasper Jacks (most recently Ingo Rademacher) Enterprises.
Plus, Jerry has been on Spoon Island before-he even had a lab set up there and had Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) hostage, working on a cure for polonium poisoning.

It Makes More Sense For This To Be Jerry
Given the ongoing JJE storyline, it makes a lot more sense for this mystery buyer to be Jerry than Nikolas, even though it’s about time Nikolas got out of Pentonville.
But, when you come right down to it, it could be either man-Nikolas wanting to reclaim the property as well as Jerry wanting to buy it, since previously, he didn’t own it.
And there’s already the lab under Wyndemere if he needs it-although the cold fusion project part of it is gone, confiscated by the WSB.
It would make more sense it being Jerry as well, because he may be Phoebe’s birth father, or possibly, grandfather if Hudson is revealed to be his son.
ven though the polonium cure was completed-and used on Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) most recently-Jerry might have other projects in the pipe!
