General Hospital Spoilers: Valentin Offers To Help Nina With Nelle’s Final Arrangements – What Is He Up Too?

ABC General Hospital spoilers tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will offer to help Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) with Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) final arrangements in an upcoming episode of GH!

General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Took Responsibility For Nelle Benson’s Funeral When Julian Jerome Wouldn’t

Viewers will recall that Nina took responsibility for receiving Nelle’s body from the morgue and making arrangements for her funeral. She had been in Charlie’s Pub at the time when Attorney Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) arrived and wanted to talk to Julian Jerome (William DeVry) in private. She was with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and they had been discussing Nelle, and also her vain efforts with tracking down Phyllis Caulfield (uncast character).

Phyllis Caulfield was the nurse who took care of Nina while she was in the coma, and she had hoped she would have answers about what happened to her baby after it was born. Nina overheard Julian telling Martin that he could just put Nelle in an unmarked grave in a potter’s field and she was upset. A potter’s field is where people are buried who have no family or friends who care for them or who will pay for a funeral. Sometimes unidentified corpses are buried in them too. Nelle’s body had just been released from the morgue.

Nina shouted out to Martin that she would be responsible for seeing that Nelle had a proper burial! Jax wasn’t sure that it was Nina’s place to do so, but she insisted. Jax was uncomfortable about Nina’s bond with Nelle and felt it put her in danger when Nelle was alive. Nina wouldn’t be dissuaded, however, and is intent on handling Nelle’s final arrangements whether Jax supports her or not!

GH Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Somehow Finds Out Nina Reeves Is Setting Up Nelle Benson’s Burial

Valentin will somehow find out that Nina is setting up Nelle’s burial and receiving her body from the morgue. Perhaps he will run into her at General Hospital while he is there on some other business. Valentin may be one of the pariahs of Port Charles, New York but he has a heart. He wouldn’t be such a good father to his daughter Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) if he didn’t. He also knows Nina will need support for this undertaking, whether Jax supports her in it or not.

It’s hard to believe he wouldn’t, but Jax helped cover up what happened. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has confessed about knowing Nelle fell off a cliff but it still seems to bother Jax. When Valentin realizes that Nina is trying to handle this all by her lonesome, of course, he will reach out to help her! Nina had formed that bond with Nelle and that bond is of maternal nature.

He will offer to help her with receiving the body and setting up the arrangements. It is a possibility that she also may bring up Phyllis Caulfield, and he may offer to help find her as well. After all, he had gone to extreme lengths to help give Nina a daughter, even though he may have gone about it in the wrong way! Did Valentin know it was Nelle and didn’t want Nina to know? It’s possible!
