And although he didn’t want to believe it, he confronted Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) who confirmed what Valentin had already suspected. As Brook Lynn tearfully explained that he was not the father of Brook Lynn’s baby Valentin’s emotions were all over the place. And with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) out of town, Valentin may seek out Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) for emotional support.

When Valentin was captured in Greece, his captor was revealed to be Victor. Valentin believed that Victor had died after being shot by Dr. Leisl O’Brecht (Kathleen Gati) a few years ago. But as shocked as Valentin was that Victor is alive, it was nothing compared to Victor’s next revelation that Valentin was a Cassadine after all and that he was Valentin’s father. Since Victor has just arranged his abduction. Valentin wasn’t convinced. But with nowhere left to turn, look for Valentin to reach out to Victor.

General Hospital Spoilers – Brook Lynn Quartermaine confirmed Valentin Cassadine’s worst fear!

As viewers now, Brook Lynn presented herself very much pregnant to Valentin after a one night stand several months prior. Valentin immediately believed that he was the baby’s father, which Brook Lynn confirmed. But the truth was the Brook Lynn wasn’t even pregnant. This was all a scheme she dreamed up in order to get her ELQ starts back from Valentin, who had tricked her into giving them to him around the same time that they slept together. For now, Brook Lynn hasn’t him the whole story. The baby actually belongs to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), who handed her baby over to Brook Lynn to keep her safe from the baby’s father.

For now, all Valentin has is Victor’s word that Victor is his father. But that’s exactly who Valentin needs right now as he processes his emotions. He had spent the last several months loving that baby and now to find out it was all a lie is devastating. For victor’s part, he will be glad to take any opportunity to try to grow closer to Valentin. Whether or not Victor is telling the truth or if he’s using Valentin for some other reason is yet to be determined. But right now Victor is exactly where Valentin needed him to be.
